- Two school friends meet again a long time later after years without having had any contact. One is a bourgeois dissatisfied with her well-to-do life. The other is a non-materialistic bohemian that practices esotericism.
- A postman hands a letter to a young, beautiful, well-off blonde woman. When he leaves the apartment, she is dead. During their investigation, Marc, Niki and Rex discover that the perpetrator stayed at the crime scene for an unnecessarily long time. When a second young woman similar to the first victim is murdered and witnesses saw a postman near the crime scene, investigators think that it is the same perpetrator who specifically selects the victims.
- In his antiques shop, Franz Zehrer discovers a kind of will under a picture frame. Instead of informing the real beneficiary, he decides to blackmail the supposed sole heir Walter Stift and is murdered by him. During the investigations, Brandtner and the team find a network dealing with fake antiquities, but only when another murder occurs and the real beneficiary comes to the fore, they start to make connections.
- For a high admission ticket to secluded places, a selected public can experience horrendous shows, such as people fighting to death, and make bets on the games. After participating in one of these shows, Petra Hoffinger, tries to inform the police but she is murdered. As Marc, Niki and Rex try to decipher where the next "game" will take place, some other "players" are killed.
- Juliette Blanchet, a model student at the National School of Political Economy in Paris, is murdered after being raped. Alice Nevers, who received a mysterious anonymous letter, suspects of two students of the school as all the evidences are mounting against them, but the judge finds out that the school is a world of appearances and pretences and may not be as they seem. She fears that she might be manipulated.
- Professor Jérôme Hamar, 57, a specialist in organ transplants, is assassinated in the university where he was teaching. The investigation is initially oriented towards a crime of passion: he had a relationship with a young girl from the Faculty, Charlotte Thieret, but had received a text before his death for an love appointment that Charlotte did not send. Hamar's daughter suspects Charlotte, but the discovery in the Seine of the body of Philippe Rigault, a former patient of Hamar, shifts research towards the medical world.
- 2013– 54mTV-G6.8 (30)TV EpisodeLéa Dubois has been dead for three days when her body and her bicycle are found hidden under tree leaves near a river close to Issanka Park. The coroner reports she was run over by a car, raped and hit with a stone until her death. The killer cut off a lock of the victim's hair, a modus operandi which reminds Candice of Simon Belvaux's, a serial killer sent to prison when she worked in Paris. While the team is investigating similar cases, Candice travels to Paris to meet Pascal Louvier, her former partner in the brigade, which lead them to remember the old times.
- Olivier Montfort, 50, single, no children, owner of a real estate agency for luxury villas, talks on the phone around midnight in the pool of his home in select Mont Saint-Clair. Agathe Clavel, his assistant, approaches him from behind and administers several electric shocks with a taser gun. Then, she hides a package in a fuse box. It looks like a premeditated homicide carried out in cold blood. Also, the taser gun that Olivier owned is missing. The investigation is being developed with an increasingly ill Antoine.
- Max takes Candice to see a house he has made an offer for, which leaves her confused, as she has applied for a job in Paris. The brigade has to solve the disappearance of Angélique Petit, a young boxer, missing since she left the Boxing Club Sétois. Within the club, there was a rivalry between Angélique and Irina Staniak, to represent the club in the regional championships. With Angélique out of the way, the path to the competition has been cleared for her rival. Mehdi infiltrates the club to obtain information.
- Candice and Max argue over Candice's transfer request and Max unilaterally decides to break the news to the children, who also get mad at Candice. The team must go to the shores of Lake Salagou, in the set of a famous TV series, where the body of François Portier has been discovered struck in the temple with a stone that was cleaned up and then dropped near the body. François had suffered repeated punctures in the tires of his vehicle. Apparently, he was a womanizer and had numerous enemies.
- While visiting Antoine in hospital before his cerebral angioma operation, Candice is summoned to Ariane Venturi's house, a controversial town councillor, environmentalist and famous lawyer, whose body is found by a bottle of wine and some pills. Brother Alexandre informs Candice that she was getting over a divorce and a second miscarriage and had started drinking. Evidences suggest suicide, but after the autopsy, Nathalie reports she was forced to take sleeping pills. Due to her extreme environmental militancy, the victim had received threats in the form of coffins, which she had reported to the police station.
- Commander Raphaëlle Coste visits the police records bureau and meets the brilliant but unsettling young Astrid, who gives her a helping hand.
- A renowned choreographer is found dead on stage. One of the dancers, covered in the victim's blood, appears to be the most likely suspect. In shock and suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's, she remembers nothing. But perhaps the case isn't quite as simple as it appears.

During the investigations, Capitaine Ghemara meets someone from his past he didn't expect.

Major Bernier must prove that he killed Viktor Branevic in self defence.
- The body of a woman is found dead deep in a cave, and the SR finds similarities with the modus operandi of a serial killer who has already murdered three other women in the region. Journalist Katia Brissaud was about to track him down when she also disappears, which cannot be a mere coincidence. She and Adjudant Delmas had become friends recently and Mathilde fears that their conversations may have encouraged Katia to face the killer alone, as one of the first three victims was a close friend of hers. The SR runs against the clock to avoid another death
- An skeleton is found in the waters of the Garonne. The TIC confirms it belongs to Francis Delcourt, a former prisoner sentenced 12 years for murder and released three years ago. The investigation reveals that shortly before his death, the victim had worked in a vineyard castle in the region for a while, but wasn't the man for the job: had a Mercedes Benz, played poker until dawn, cheated. He had a fight with another fellow grape picker, Sylvain Dubois, which makes him one of the suspects
- A woman is having a video chat with her friend Myriam Renier on the Internet, when Myriam says she hears a noise inside the house, where she is alone. Despite her advise, Myriam goes searching for the origin of the noise; a scream is heard and a hooded person turns the computer off. When the SR arrives to the crime scene, the Myriam is gone. Myriam Reiner had recently lost her mother and she was devastated for her loss. She wanted to start a new life and devoted herself to meeting new people on the Internet by creating various identities. The SR fears that her disappearance may have been caused by a bad relationship.
- A young man is found murdered in his home, with an unconscious man lying next to him and the murder weapon in his hand. When he wakes up in the hospital, he not only remembers nothing, but barely claims to know the victim at the sawmill co-op where they both work and has no apparent reason to do so.
- At Annecy Palace of Justice, Procureur Roche makes the final statement in a trial, when a man from the public benches stands up and claims for the justice he was denied. As the court agents try to reduce him, he threatens to activate the detonator of the explosives belt with 3 kilos of ammonium nitrate he is carrying and asks the Procureur to call his son, Capitaine Roche. He is Paul Sorbier, a surgeon who worked for 30 years in war zones with the Red Cross and who demands that the case of the alleged suicide of his daughter, Marina Joussineau, be reopened. He blames Roche for a judicial error and demands that her son investigates to repair it.
- A young couple meet on a lakeside pier when they discover the corpse of 25-year-old orphan Lola Perrin covered in blood. Lola, an osteopath, testified 10 years earlier against Víctor Sénac, during the trial for the murder of Alice Bellanger, 15, whose body was found in the same place. Victor had confessed himself guilty of the murder and spent ten years in prison. After his release, he is the main suspect on this occasion as well.
- 42-year-old famous architect Paul Cellier plunges down from the fifth floor of one of his construction sites. A man escapes after the fall and the workers try to reach him without success, but he is identified as Maxime Leroux, a rival architect envious of Cellier's fame and buildings in Kuala Lumpur and Paris, among others. Investigators open another investigation line when they learn that Cellier had argued with his partner for 16 years, Sacha Lebriand, construction manager, with whom he had a son, Jérémy, 10, and who he planned to marry with. Virginie Gaetner, mother of Jérémy, Paul's childhood friend, becomes also a suspect when Judge Nevers and Commander Marquand discover that she wanted to take the boy to live with her and her husband in Toulouse, away from his parents, and finish the joint custody they had so far.
- Prosecutor Quiring finds the body of Sophie Marchal in the hammam of the elegant luxury spa hotel of which he is a client and where the young woman worked as a masseuse. During the investigation, Constance and Boris learn that the young woman had been performing undeclared services for several months and especially that she received daily messages and emails of insults from a mysterious anonymous.
- The body of Liliane Maizières, a woman in her fifties, appears in a small square and causes commotion among the population of Marseille. Constance and Boris discover that she was originally from Lyon and was staying at a hotel in the city, where she had come in search of her granddaughter Lou, a troubled teenager who ran away from home and was involved with bad company.
