- Farmer wants a wife.
- Single mother name Pike who, having just been released from prison, is trying to start her news life anew. When her former boyfriend Lalli come back from abroad, it open a window into her past that Pike want to put behind her.
- Based on the real-life chronicle of the "nine for nine" Pennsylvania coal miners who were rescued in the summer of 2002. Told from their own perspective, the movie reveals their extraordinary experience and, takes viewers inside the mine (shot in real mines and recreated on a soundstage) to show the life-threatening dangers and physical limitations the men faced for 77 hours as they waited for rescue. The movie was shot in many of the actual locations in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, including scenes at the real-life Quecreek mine.
- Vilma is a female prompter at a theater-production of "Romeo and Juliet". She's used to remain in the background, but when the female leading actress injures herself, Vilma must take on the role of Juliet in the theater-piece. With only a few days to premiere, she's pulled into a love affair with her actor-opponent who plays Romeo. During the last days before the premiere of the theater-play she meets two young ghosts who appears from an old sofa.
- Each episode takes the Grammy award singer Natalie Grant to a church to match up one of their eligible singles. The church and pastor pick the guinea pig who then consents. Various "matchmakers" in the church nominate eligible dates, someone they think would be good and describe before the church why they picked the candidate. Then the guy says a few words and the church then narrows the field down to 3 finalists through ballot voting. The pastor picks a 4th candidate and the spotlighted single then spends time with all 4 doing a charity or other pre-selected activity. After that, the pastor selects a filtering game or interview process to observe the candidates and give insights into strengths and weaknesses, such that it's narrowed down to 3. Then, the single picks two finalists to date with the whole process and dates on camera. She evaluates with the audience pros and cons and what she's thinking and looking for, all the way along. Finally, she selects the winner to continue dating. It's a fun show giving many insights into relationships, thinking through the dating process with friendly voices feeding into it, for consideration.

Pacius becomes infatuated with Ebba Duncker, who sings by the lake like a nightingale from a young mermaid. Pacius' infatuation, despite being married, causes a scandal in Helsinki's high society circles.
