- The shooting at Mann's apartment is investigated, and all involved stood down for three days. Upon their return Faith gets served, and receives a promotion. Cruz has a new boss and gets an anonymous tip about a rat in the house. Ty meets up with some old foes and bungles their arrests. Munroe has a secret.
- Following up a noise complaint at a teenage party, Susie and Joss discover a girl who claims to have been pack raped.
- Amonte and Barnes respond to a complaint of child abuse at the hospital. Valero and Williams pull over a vehicle after they observe what looks like a kidnap, only to find the "victim" carrying a large gun. A vehicle pulled over for a broken tail-light becomes a homicide investigation when a body is found.
- Emily inadvertently lets the vampires into the apartment. Cruz and Santiago are targets of a drive-by shooter. Yokas handles a hostage crisis at a TV station. Bosco proves his shooting ability. Carlos has trouble saying what he wants to say to Holly, and gets some sage advice from Stu. A grenade is thrown into the police house.
- Shanti is having problems getting a plumber to come to the new house, but James gets one from out of the area who doesn't know the house's history. Trent & Cindy ask Morgan to be godmother to their unborn daughter. Kieran is snooping into Ethan's affairs. Kip asks Tracy to house-sit while he's away.
- Kieran is discovered. Libby is preparing for her wedding. Tania is agonising over Kingi's lack of public affection. Kit tells Tracy that she is sleepwalking. Gerald and Hunter are fighting over Morgan again. Kieran doesn't want to shift Whitetail product any more.

Ethan's world falls apart.
- Tania strikes out at Kane. The police continue their murder investigation. Alice doesn't remember what happened, and thinks she is the guilty one. Callum is stood down as CEO of the hospital. Sarah returns to work. Brooke is offered somewhere to stay.
- It is time for Morgan's first scan. The Watsons don't approve of her lifestyle. Shanti perseveres with her research about the house's history, and finds some answers. Xavier encounters Dr Campbell and they disagree on a diagnosis. Morgan gets some surprising news.
- Keiran confronts Libby about canceling the hospital's reception booking at the IV. Callum is not happy about the change of location. Fraser is not having a good day with Deborah and reveals his true thoughts to Yvonne. Sarah is back in ED and is not impressed with the changes made in her absence. Jericho's mother complains about Tane. The reception gets mixed responses. Kieran appoints a new bar manager.
- Shanti is worries about her and Scotty's future in their house and turns to TK for help. Nigel takes over the reigns of the IV but does not have his son's support. Xavier makes a decision about his future in NZ. Tane and Ruby have their first date. Scotty talks in his sleep.
- Sarah has her doubts about Kit's ability to run ED professionally, and watches how he handles a multiple major trauma. Grant has heart problems. Alice moves out. Yvonne rails against Maia, then Fraser, and mixes alcohol with her morphine. Ruby doesn't cope in the ED rush, but comes up trumps in an emergency.
- Brooke operates on her father. Nigel disapproves of Hunter. Maia snaps at Xavier when he comes looking for Alice. The IRD visit Grant. Morgan tells Hunter of her plan. Chris and Libby work together and are reminded that they make a good team.
- Sophie is nominated for Head Girl at school and cuts her teeth by dealing to a bully. Deborah goes missing from the home. Brooke and TK are both in line for the Head of the PCC now that they've passed their exams. Libby passes her MBA exams, too, but no-one tells Maia about the planned celebration.
- Kip cries on Alice's shoulder. Brooke asks Chris for help with a neurosurgery patient. Tai starts working in the hospital kitchen. Gerald and Morgan invite the parents-to-be to dinner to see if they're ready for the babies. Tracey makes a discovery about Tai.
- Tracey confronts Tai about his motives. News of Xavier & Alice's engagement spreads, and he takes interest in Maia's charity project. Scotty reveals Tracey's secret to Tai. Cindy hits the roof at Morgan and Gerald. Gerald's support has its limits. Maia is suspicious of a man she keeps seeing.
- Gabriel joins the surgical team as HOD. Alice has a go at Xavier for standing her up at their engagement party. Maia confronts the man she thinks is stalking her. Trent delivers a baby's cot to Morgan. Tania feels Maia is neglecting Jay. Xavier and Alice finally talk, and come to an agreement about their future. Gabriel has difficulty with surgery staff.
- Kieran encourages Kip to talk to Gabrielle. Daniel demonstrates his cricket skills. Helen Carson invites TK to lunch. Orlando continues to bully. Chris overhears some gossip about Gabrielle, and she comes clean with some of the staff. Daniel betrays Sophie to Orlando.

Callum starts to quietly investigate a spate of thefts in the hospital. Tai teases Scotty about being a nurse, then sees him in action. Hunter fights with Trent. A new nurse starts at the hospital.
- Yvonne and Tania hear about Libby's Bali holiday. Sarah worries about Daniel. Scotty confronts Tai about his night class. Gossip spreads about Tai's criminal record. Libby's holiday fling arrives at reception, much to her horror. Maia thinks people are talking about her. Orlando's party is sprung and gets out of hand.
- Dean stays the night at Libby's. Daniel goes home and reconciles with Sarah. TK hears a different version of events. Ms Dupree visits Sarah. Maia interferes in Alice's life once to often. Libby tries to ditch Dean, with varying levels of success.
- Libby organizes the bridal shower but meets some resistance. Brooke is a hero in Hunter's eyes. TK has difficulty coping with a resuscitation. Tania and Gabrielle are teamed together for a hen's-party game. After the stags gatecrash the hens' party at the IV, Morgan freaks when Gerald starts to strip for her.
- Libby has problems with the catering for the wedding. TK talks to Daniel about Sarah's MS. Tracey and Tai have words. Hunter becomes a groom's-man. Sophie hears gossip about herself and gets even. The wedding rehearsal develops into something else.
- Kip can't find anyone to party with. Hunter chats up Brooke. Tai is arrested. Scotty regrets not acting sooner. Tracey regrets speaking up. Alice arrives home in good spirits. Questions are asked about the PCC's performance. Callum invites Kip for a run at lunchtime and runs rings around him. Kip and Alice make a bet on clean living.
- Libby is lumbered with a pile of food when the message wasn't received about the canceled wedding reception. Keiran starts his new catering contract at the hospital. Kip and Alice both struggle to lead the good life, and TK offers them a new challenge.
- Libby tries to rescue the party. Gabrielle praises Tania. Gerald and Morgan return from their honeymoon to find they are over-budget. Kip and Alice taunt each other over their lifestyle changes, and take it out on their workmates and each other. Morgan struggles to cope with work in her advanced state.
- Alice wins the bet and is determined to continue going cold-turkey on the cigarettes. Maia berates Shanti for not dealing with minor details while the team is short-staffed. A fund-raising colleague of Chris's is admitted as a patient. Cindy waves the white flag of truce.
- The investigation into Doc's actions starts. Rose invites Bosco to dinner, unbeknown to him with his brother. Fred is upset that Faith is partnering with Bosco again. A dead body is found, near signs that a drug war is starting. Cruz is miffed at being left out of a raid.
- While making a 'detour' while on patrol to check on her husband who is staying at a motel, Evan and Suzy break up a domestic disturbance involving a husband and wife and the man he believes she is having an affair with.
- Amonte fails to take out an armed attacker in the prescribed manner and has to explain to Barnes and Briggs at a time when he is up for evaluation. A slum landlord asks for help with an eviction and Rico overreacts to what he sees. Williams is teamed with Layne. Barnes lets Rico drive the squad car for the first time - which he soon regrets.
- New police premises are quickly organised and two new staff members unexpectedly arrive - Sergeant Mark Jacobs and Detective Amy Fox.
- Sasha returns to work. Bosco prepares for his brother's court appearance. Sully's breakfast routine is broken when the owner of a restaurant he frequents is killed in a hold-up. Rebecca collapses, and it is found that she has been badly abused. The LSAT results arrive.
- Ty gets a rookie partner with family connections to IAB. Carlos gets cursed by a patient's psychic. A Chinese bride is shot at her wedding. Faith asks Fred if their kids can attend her promotion ceremony at One Police Plaza. Monroe finds a way to connect with Yokas.
- Faith and Fred go to court to fight for custody of the kids. IAB interrupt, taking Faith away with them. A cute new firefighter arrives. Cruz is denied bail and sent to Rykers on remand. Under full immunity, Faith confesses the truth. A potential suicide causes problems. Sully tells Ty something about the history between himself, Ty's father, and C.T. Finney. Bosco wakes up.
- Doc faces up to disobeying orders, and a decision is made about Carlos. A car crashes into a shop, driven by a man who abducted his daughter the week before - but things are not completely as they seem and the situation deteriorates. Sully tries to quit drinking.
- Tess is surprised to discover that her in-laws are the couple who stopped to help a hit-and-run victim; they are equally surprised to discover she is pregnant.

Faith takes an interest in the guy's background and finds he may have killed a woman. Sasha and Ty make up, then find a dead body in the garbage by the squad's house.

Bosco tries to avoid the results of a big match so he can watch it on tape later; Faith is waiting for her biopsy results; Sully and Ty go out on the eve of Sully's wedding to Tatiana; Jimmy is having trouble sleeping... and then morning comes around and it is September 11th, in New York City.
- Faith and Jelly investigate the murder of a Muslim school girl and Faith suspects an honor killing. Ty continues to ask questions about his father. Munroe's secret is revealed. Brendan is a hero and gets a second chance with Grace. Emily makes a choice.
- Holly says "the L word" to Carlos and he doesn't know how to respond. Bosco is looking forward to his release from hospital. A simple notification turns out to be anything but for Cruz when there might be a terrorist with a dirty bomb. Brendan is worried for his father when CT says he loves him.
- Miller recognizes the M.O. of the body found dumped by the squad house and works on the case with Yokas. Finney and Foster get talking. Carlos denies there is anything happening with him and Levine. Munroe is working to a deadline. Carlos and Foster are ambushed. The murderer hands himself in - after he has set up another girl to die slowly.
- The police squad house is evacuated to the fire house across the road. Carlos says the wrong thing to Holly and she leaves. Bosco is discharged from hospital. Grace comforts Brendan. Cruz makes a breakthrough on the dirty bomb case. The tests for radiation poisoning show up something that she already knows.
- Anti-crime are involved in a chase that leads to an accident and there is an explosion while the fire and paramedic crews are working. Doc and Kim are on the promotions list. The ADA reviews the case against Stevie, but Bosco doesn't want an innocent man convicted. Faith is on the desk while she looks for a new partner.
- Lt Johnson's burns are very bad, and he is transferred to another hospital by helicopter, with Doc and Mrs Johnson at his side. Kim finds out that Aaron is dead. Faith goes to surgery for her wounds. Bosco tells Swersky what happened, and then talks to the FBI.
