- With Mr. Finch offering a free 5-minute shopping spree for the 50,000th customer at his pharmacy, Mr. Wilson tries to calculate the exact moment that it will happen so that he can walk through the door and claim the prize.
- Hoping to be selected as a delegate to a bird lovers' convention, Mr. Wilson hosts a reception for the organization at his home. The program includes a special guest who does actual bird calls. However, after seeing a sign for the meeting in a music shop window, ("Remember the Bird"), two beatniks think the occasion is to honor a music legend, and they show up to turn it into a jazz program.
- Dennis is sure that he's going to get a horse for Christmas, even though his parents repeatedly tell him that he isn't (and Mr. Wilson would be sure to object). Then Dennis hears that another boy in the neighborhood has gotten a pony -- and he heads there to claim it, certain that Santa must have delivered it to the wrong house.
- Mr. Wilson is eager for Dennis to go to summer camp. And when Henry is unexpectedly unable to take Dennis and several of Dennis's friends to visit the camp, Mr. Wilson is happy to step in, and takes them there himself.
- Mr. Wilson believes he's a millionaire when he inherits his aunt's estate.
- Mr Wilson goes for a haircut in preparation for a magazine taking his picture for an article. Unfortunately, Dennis scares the barber and the back of George's hair is accidentally shaved off.
- A new regulation says no one can walk on the grass in the park. When a policeman chases Dennis and his friends off the grass, Henry talks to the policeman. Henry gets a ticket for walking on the grass in order to talk to the policeman.

- Mr Wilson gives Dennis a coin with Good Luck written on it for mowing his lawn. Dennis thinks it is a lucky coin, and he seems to have a lot of good things happening to him.
- Mr Wilson installs his own burglar alarm after a series of burglaries in the neighborhood. Dennis thinks the new neighbor is the stocking bandit. This is the last episode with Joseph Kearns who died after filming the episode.
- Mr Wilson's lodge is raising money by selling raffle tickets to win a car. Dennis buys a ticket because he thinks his mother should get a car.
- A fellow-garden-club member asks George to take a picture of a special delicate plant that only blooms at night. George is ready with his camera, but falls asleep before the flower blooms. Dennis asks Mr Wilson to be the Scout Den Mother.
- After a truck knocks over a street sign, Dennis and Tommy set it back up--incorrectly. As a result, Mr. Wilson gets a hole dug in his backyard for the swimming pool that was intended for the other address.
- Dennis and Tommy have started their own newspaper, "The Mr. Wilson News", in which they write about Mr. Wilson's daily activities. But when they overhear him playfully telling Mrs. Wilson that he'd give $20 for a raccoon coat like the one he had in college, the boys tell Mr. Krinke, who in turn prints this information in the local newspaper. In no time, the Wilson household is overflowing with raccoon coats from sellers from all over town.
- Dennis convinces Mr Wilson to run for park commissioner.
- Henry buys an antique car to enter the Horseless Carriage Road Race. He hopes the win the prize and become the president of his and Henry's local chapter for the club. Dennis talks Mr Wilson to take him & his friends on a drive in the car.
- To prove to Mrs. Elkins that he doesn't hate children, Mr. Wilson goes to great lengths to be kind to Dennis --and hopefully, he will be chosen as the subject of Dennis's publicly-read essay, "My Best Friend".
- Mr. Wilson has a memorable birthday after he decides to leave Dennis his gold watch in his will.
- Mr. Wilson's plans for a quiet evening with his coin collection go awry when he unexpectedly has to babysit Dennis, Margaret, and Seymour.

- Alice is still visiting with her parents. Dennis' teacher asks students to take home the school pets over the weekend while the heat is off at school. Dennis brings home chicken eggs, but then the electricity goes off in the Mitchell home.
- With his father away on a business trip and his mother sick in bed with a cold, Dennis has to be the "man of the house". This includes doing laundry with Margaret's help, and arranging a dinner party with his friends in connection with a sales pitch.
- After hearing talk that Miss Cathcart could use a "best friend", Dennis adopts a lost dog from the pound for her. But when the dog's gentlemanly owner shows up at her door to claim the dog, Miss Cathcart thinks he is the "best friend" Dennis told her to expect.
- Dennis and Tommy's efforts to sell Valentine's Day cards in July cause problems for Miss Cathcart, Mr. Dorfman, Mr. Wilson, and even Mr. Carlson the gardener. There's also a run on Valentine's Day cards in July. Mr. Wilson buys the rest of Dennis' cards, hoping to avoid more trouble, but he ends up in trouble with the police.
- Mr. Wilson's attempts to build a backyard barbecue are stymied by his teenage helper's playing loud music and by a search for Dennis's wandering pet turtle.
- A neighbor kid is building a car for a soapbox race, so Dennis and Tommy decide to build one also. Several people help, and before the race, Mr Wilson makes a last second change. Dennis removes the starter bar and Mr Wilson wins the race.
- The Mitchell's host a circus act for a cub scout event. They need someone in the back end of a lion costume. He asks Mr Wilson to help out.
- Dennis feeds crows in the backyard, causing noise while Mr Wilson is on the phone trying to argue for keeping an old tree from being chopped down. One of the crows grabs a hundred dollar bill from Mr Wilson's and flies off to the old tree.
- Mr. Wilson has his car trunk open to use the car jack to change a flat tire. While no one is looking Miss Cathcart's cat jumps in and then Dennis closes the trunk.
- When George gives away books, he includes a book that holds a stock certificate worth $500. He tries to get the book back, but it is too late. Dennis saves the day when he realizes he found the stock and kept it because it looked neat!
- Mr. Wilson wagers his large magnifying glass, betting that Dennis can't refrain from talking to him for five straight hours.
- While Henry is out of town Dennis wants his mom to have a nice birthday with lots of presents. Mr. Wilson sends him down to Finch's drug store to shop for his mom. When he goes down to Finch's drug store he ends up causing chaos down there with Mr. Finch and to make matters worse he puts a sign on him advertising people to get his mom lots of birthday presents.
- Mr. Wilson takes Dennis camping on a cold and windy mountainside, so that Dennis will be able to join the Junior Pathfinders and Mr. Wilson will improve his own odds of winning a Best Citizen award.
- Dennis' school teacher stops by to tell the Mitchells that Dennis scored high on an IQ test at school. They try to help Dennis with his intelligence, and later find out there was a mistake in the grading.
- While watching an auction from the sidewalk, Dennis causes Mr Wilson to raise his hand when an old-fashioned radio is being auctioned. George has to pay for it since it appeared to be a bid. Turns out the radio has a hidden stack of money.
- Tommy does not want his saxophone anymore, so Dennis decides he wants to buy it. Mr Wilson finds out when Dennis asks his father for the money, and tries to talk Henry out of buying it.
- Alice plans a visit to her parent's home for a few days. Dennis buys her a gift for her trip and hides it in Mr Wilson's home. Mrs Wilson finds the gift and thinks it is for her.
- Dennis starts collecting rocks to build a collection. He finds some rocks that he thinks are real gold.
- Chaos ensues when Dennis handcuffs Mr. Wilson to Tommy while rehearsing a school play and there's no key.
- Henry has plans to play golf, which means Dennis has free time which he wants to spend with George. George convinces Henry to not play golf, hoping it means Henry will spend time with Dennis.
- When Henry becomes sick, Mr. Wilson manages Dennis' Pee Wee League baseball team.
- Dennis, Tommy, and Stewart start a clubhouse in Mr. Wilson's crawl-space. After a fortuneteller tells Mr. Wilson that he will hear from one of his late relatives, he hears noises in the house and thinks a late relative has come back from the dead, but it's Dennis and his friends in the basement.
- Dennis thinks that his dad is in money trouble so he starts out selling bottles and before you know it everyone in town thinks that the Mitchell's really are in trouble with money.
- Dennis wants to get his father a fishing rod for a gift. When he counts the money in a piggy bank, it is not nearly enough. Dennis finds a $50 Confederate bill in the papers from his grandmother and tries to use that.
- Mr. Wilson pays $250.00 for a rare gold coin from a con artist that turns out to be a fake coin. The good news is that the coin gives Mr. Wilson a free wish when Dennis throws the coin in the fountain in the park, Mr. Wilson wishes that Dennis would go on vacation for a week and his wish comes true in the end when he learns that Dennis is going to his Grandpa's for a week.
- When Dennis is over at one of his friends he notices that his friend has his own TV set so Dennis is doing anything he can to convince his parents to buy him a TV set of his own, However when Henry and Alice both turn him down he has Mr. Wilson show him how to work his remote control which was a mistake cause then Dennis rents a remote of his own and ends up controlling Mr. Wilson's TV set from the guest room with the remote that he rented.
- Thanks to Dennis, Mr. Wilson forgets the combination to his new safe.
- The town holds a Paint-up, Clean-up Week campaign, and everyone spruces up their place. Dennis gets into the act with paint from Mr Wilson to paint his red wagon. Dennis paints the wagon and the street corner. Mr Wilson gets blamed.
- Dennis gets a new Private Eye Detective Kit and has fun with Tommy solving crimes. When they hear that Mr Wilson's wallet was stolen, Dennis and Tommy use their new found skills to find the culprit.
- Mr. Wilson comes back from vacation with a changed attitude, more free spirited and cheerful. However, that all changes when Dennis and Tommy camp out in the back yard because a friend of Henry and Alice have a record with wild animal sounds on it such as lions and have speakers in the patio turned up so Dennis and Tommy can pretend they are out in the jungle. Mr. Wilson hears the sounds of the animal roars and thinks that the wild animals are after the boys so he runs outside without his glasses on and carries his sword.
- One of Dennis' friends gives him a pet in a cage that he says is a hamster. The animal escapes from the cage, and everyone finds out it is really a gopher when Mr Wilson's yard is nearly destroyed.
- Dennis' school is putting on a play about all nations. Each student has to ask someone to represent a different nationality to be in the play. Dennis asks Mr Wilson and Mr. MacTavish to represent Scotland. The 1961 Miss Scotland appears.
- After Joey has to go home Dennis has no one to play with Henry is going golfing, Mr. Wilson is going bowling, Alice has a date to play bridge and his other friends aren't around So, Dennis decides he wants to go visit his Grandfather which is far away so when he asks Alice to take him to his Grandfather's and she can't Dennis decides to start walking there but, he doesn't get far as he ends up getting stopped by the police.
- Mr. Wilson is nervous about hosting his niece's upcoming wedding, especially with Dennis as the ringbearer.
- Dennis has a history project for school to take pictures of historical places around town, and then write a composition about them. Mrs Wilson suggests Mr Wilson help Dennis because he has a movie camera.
- George and Henry buy an investment property only to find out it's haunted.
- Mr. Wilson's former employers offer him an executive position at his old company, but it will require him to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA. Dennis doesn't want him to go, but when Mr. Wilson decides to take the job, Dennis blames himself and runs away from home.
- It's Christmas time and Dennis is going around the house looking for his presents. Henry and Alice think they have the perfect place to hide them, The Wilson's house in Mr. Wilson's closet which works for a while but eventually Dennis figures it out when he goes over to the Wilson's house and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are over at his so Dennis opens the closet door and sees his gifts.
- While their house is being fumigated, the Wilsons sleep over at the Mitchells'. When Dennis learns that Mr. Wilson has been known to walk in his sleep, he invites all his friends over to see it.
- Mr Wilson comes up with another plan to keep Dennis in his own house and away from Mr Wilson. He shows Dennis how to collect money, but Dennis only bothers everyone for pennies and causes Mr Wilson to get arrested.
- Both Dennis and Mr. Wilson are ashamed that they have never learned to whistle, and try everything they can think of, including eating very sour cherries, to be able to do so.
- After Mr. Wilson takes a temporary position at the bank, Dennis opens up a bank account and stops at the bank daily to check on his money and keep Mr. Wilson company.
- Henry and Mr. Wilson decide to plant Dennis a flower garden of his own hoping to keep Dennis out of Mr. Wilson's flower garden, but what Dennis does is take the bulbs out of Mr. Wilson's garden and replace them with sweet potatoes and when Mr. Wilson sees the bulbs at Dennis' house he thinks they are Dennis' and he sticks them in Dennis' garden, but, Dennis and Mr. Wilson both win a blue ribbon though.
- Dennis and a bunch of other town boys are collecting papers for a charity and the prize for the boy who collects the most papers is a Silver dollar that's worth $600. When Mr. Wilson gets word of that he is determined to make sure that Dennis wins the prize so that he can get the silver dollar.
- The Mitchell's and Wilson's celebrate George's good fortune in a sale of a coin collection. They each open a fortune cookie, and George's seems to indicate a bad day. Dennis is determined to protect him from harm.
- The Mitchell's start a rumor that they are moving to New York in order to keep Mr. Wilson in town to receive a plaque. However, things start getting a little out of hand once Dennis gets word of it as the whole neighborhood thinks the Mitchell's really are moving to New York.
- To help Martha, Mr. Wilson hires a housekeeper. But this backfires when the stern housekeeper won't let Mrs. Wilson do anything, and rearranges the kitchen cabinets to Mr. Wilson's dissatisfaction.
- George is expecting a visit from his Uncle Ned, a rocker-chair addict. When Ned arrives, he is active, fit, and energetic. Ned forces George and Henry into a fitness program.
- Mr. Wilson, Dennis and his father try to prove they can survive three days in the wilderness, armed only with a knife, an ax, and a fishing rod - plus a tempting large basket of food, which is only supposed to be for Dennis.
- To help the bees find honey Dennis sprays a fragrant smell on Mr. Wilson's camellias, Mr. Wilson of course gets carried away thinking he has developed a rare flower that will make him a fortune only to discover that the fragrant smell is from Dennis spraying perfume on his flowers.
- Dennis has a tree house that hangs over Mr. Wilson's back yard. Mr. Wilson is not thrilled about it because he thinks that Dennis up in the tree house will scare all the birds away. He tries to teach Dennis about bird watching, which in the end turns out good, when Dennis takes care of a sick bird and helps Mr. Wilson get an award from the state bird society.
- With Mr. Wilson's help, Dennis enters his frog in a frog jumping contest.
- Dennis wants more money to buy things he wants, so he asks for his father for an allowance. His father agrees, as long as he works for his money. Giving Dennis money without his help seems cheaper in the long run.
- The Mitchell's are having a open house party to entertain one of Henry's clients but people are having trouble finding the house, that is until Dennis finds an open house sign and puts in in the yard and soon the house is over run with people who think that the open house sign indicates the house is for sale.
- After Dennis hears that the city is going to tear down Mr. Dorfman, the postman's bench Dennis, Tommy, Margaret and Stewart try to build him a new one but Dennis gets sick and has to stay in the house and watch the other 3 try to build the bench.
- Dennis introduces his visiting grandpa to town spinster Miss Cathcart, who takes an interest in him, sings for him, and pretty much makes him miserable.
- When Dennis sets out to join a club, John Wilson begins to question his sanity.
- Henry and Mr. Wilson have a fishing trip planned and are trying to keep Dennis from finding out. Dennis however knows something is up when he sees a package delivered to the house that has fishing stuff in it and so it turns out to be a long night for Dennis as he won't rest until he finds out what's in the package. Eventually he figures it out and so Henry and Mr. Wilson end up taking Dennis along after all.
- New neighbors, the Driscolls, share a party telephone line with the Mitchells, which causes problems for both families.
- Dennis, with a loose tooth, wants to visit a new dentist who gives presents to first-time patients. But when Dennis's tooth falls out before he can go to the dentist, he convinces Mr. Wilson to go in his place so Dennis can still get a present.
- John Wilson and Henry Mitchell compete in the games at the community picnic.
- Dennis sneaks out on his sitter to go to the movies where his parents are and causes trouble at the theater.
- Dennis gets to be in a play put on by Mrs. Webster that his favorite TV star Whip Crawford is in only Whip doesn't want to be in the play because he claims his feet hurt so he tries to dodge Mrs. Webster and everyone else. So, Dennis who doesn't give up does everything he can to get Whip Crawford in the play including going to his hotel room and talking to Whip Crawford himself which in the end works.
- Henry finds a large envelope in the gutter outside his house and is surprised to find it is full of money. Henry asks George to go with him to the police to turn it in. The money is counterfeit. The families go on a picnic together.
- Mr. Wilson has a yard full of starlings that he desperately wants to get rid of so he hires a professional named Mr. Prince to do the job that has a record that will get rid of them. However, thanks to Dennis the record breaks so that when Miss Cathcart starts singing the starlings start to fly away and to finish them off Dennis puts liver in Mr. Wilson's tree which eventually brings tons of cats.
- Mr. Wilson gets a telescope and is convinced he spotted a missing satellite in space. What he actually spotted was a ping-pong ball that glows in the dark from Dennis' pop gun that Dennis was shooting in the air to win a contest from a kids TV show called Captain Blast.
- After Dennis meets Mr. Wilson's sister Helen and she reads the book "Treasure Island" to him and his friends Dennis decides he wants to be a pirate and dig for buried treasure, So, Mr. Wilson draws a map of his yard for Dennis and his friends to find so they can dig for where Mr. Wilson wants to plant his flowers. When Dennis and the other boys start digging they find a treasure only it came off a costume bracelet of Alice's that Henry put there for the boys to find. But, when Mr. Wilson sees it he starts getting excited until he finds out that it isn't real treasure.
- When Dennis overhears and repeats part of a conversation between John and Eloise in which they decide to no longer play cards together, rumors around the neighborhood begin to fly that the Wilsons are splitting up. With the belief that Mr. Wilson is now single, Miss Cathcart and Miss Tarbell compete for his affections with the help of Dennis.
- To do research on an article he's writing about children's behavior, Mr. Wilson spends a strenuous day playing with Dennis and Dennis's friends.
- Dennis wants a bike so bad that he will do almost anything to get one such as taking one away from another child, Trying to win one in a bean contest, riding Mr. Wilson's exercise bike. Finally in the end Henry takes Dennis shopping for a bike.
- Dennis sees a mynah bird he wants in a store. The store owner stays he can have the bird free if he buys the bird cage. Dennis talks to his father, and he promises to be good and study for school if his dad gets him a bird cage as an award.
- John Wilson has taken over writing the advice column for the local paper. However, complications arise when he unwittingly gives advice to two women - Miss Cathcart and Miss Tarbell - who are out to catch the same man, Sergeant Mooney.
- Believing that Mr. Wilson is broke, Dennis goes all out to help his friend. This includes buying groceries for the Wilsons and leaving them on their doorstep; and putting on a show with his friends, using the admission fees to make money for Mr. Wilson.
- Dennis wants to put up a swing in his yard and ends up chasing a cat who Mr. Wilson is house sitting for a friend up a tree in the process. Meanwhile Henry tries to take Alice out for their anniversary which Henry completely forgot about. the ice cream man tries to get the cat out of the tree and ends up with his ice cream truck shut off so the ice cream man puts all of his ice cream in the Mitchell's ice box.
- After celebrating Father's Day with his father, Dennis decides Mr Wilson needs his own Father's Day. Dennis manages to do everything to have George enjoy his day. Luckily, one of Dennis' gifts helps George win a lawsuit.
- In order to claim a prize, Mr. Wilson must make good on his claim that he has four sons. So he recruits Dennis and three of Dennis's friends for the roles.
- Concerned that Eloise will be destitute if he should pass away suddenly, John Wilson hopes that his Aunt Emma will leave her money to him, so that he can in turn provide for Eloise. However, when Aunt Emma and Dennis become friends, Mr. Wilson fears that Dennis will inherit Aunt Emma's money instead.
- When Dennis sees Mrs. Wilson knitting booties (for Mr. Wilson's golf clubs), he jumps to the conclusion that the Wilsons are about to have a baby, and innocently spreads the word all over town.
- Dennis & Tommy get Mr Quigley to coach their baseball team. Mr Quigley hopes it improves store sales. He manages to get the Dodgers to play an exhibition game for the town. Mr Wilson is said to be going on a trip which explains his absence.
- John Wilson is writing an article about witch doctors. But some strange occurrences and odd accidents convince his new neighbors that he really is a witch doctor and is out to hex them.
- A bully at school beats up Dennis. John Wilson helps him to learn to fight.
- When Dennis becomes friendly with the Wilsons' houseguest, a little Chinese girl, Margaret becomes jealous of Dennis' attention to her.
- Mr. Wilson is plagued by a full-grown duck that Dennis adopted when its original owner moved away. At first Dennis hides the duck from his parents, but when Mr. Wilson complains about the damage caused to his garden and himself, Dennis reluctantly admits to having the duck. His father helps Dennis build an enclosure for the duck, but Mr. Wilson continues to have problems with Dennis' new pet -- and begins to scheme how to get rid of it even if Dennis and his parents won't.
- A neighbor's cat is bothering Mr Wilson; he thinks cats are a nuisance. When he finds out there is an ordinance that requires cats to be licensed, he unwillingly volunteers to do the job of rounding them up.
- Dennis wants his dad to be a hero so bad after Johnny Brady's dad always seems to get his picture in the paper for some heroic act. So Dennis tries to talk to the town reporter to put Henry's picture in the paper and make him a hero.
- Dennis tries to help Mr. Wilson's old neighbor sell his house by using his drum. Mr. Wilson, however, has different ideas, so he tries to talk a retired couple with no children into moving in next door, which almost works until Dennis and his friends come bursting into Mr. Wilson's house. So, what happens is the window repair man is moving in next door, and he has 4 kids, which is not what Mr. Wilson wanted at all.
- Stretch Nichols, the school basketball team's star player, quits the team after being teased about his height and worn-out clothes one time too many. A sympathetic Dennis persuades Mr. Quigley to help by buying Stretch new clothes and giving him an after-school job, so that Stretch will feel better about himself and rejoin the team in time for the big game.
- Mr Wilson reads in the paper that a monster has been seen in town. Since his editor wants exciting stories, Mr Wilson decides to add to the story when he sees large footprints in the back yard. Dennis has a new novelty toy - large fake feet
- John Wilson pretends to be sick in order to avoid Dennis. However, Dennis is seriously worried by Mr. Wilson's "illness", and spreads the word around town, leading to several concerned visitors.
- When Dennis is appointed by the mayor to go to Washington, DC to ask their state senator to make the local forest a national park, Mr. Wilson believes his own Washington contacts can help.

- The first mockingbird of the season stays in a tree in Mr Wilson's backyard. Mr Wilson decides to run for president of the Birdwatchers Society, but has conflicts when he tries to run the bird off from his property.
- While his parents are out of town, Dennis has to stay overnight at the Wilsons' house. John Wilson is not pleased about this. And the added complication of a burglar in the neighborhood is making him even more nervous.
- Mr Wilson asks Dennis to take his tuxedo to the cleaners. Instead, Dennis and Seymour wash it in an old washing machine.
- Mr Wilson decides to teach his dog Fremont a few commands. Dennis asks if he can help train Fremont, and Mr Wilson allows him to do all the training. After the dog is trained, Fremont only responds to Dennis and not to Mr Wilson.
- Henry decides to leave his job at Trask Engineering, which means an overseas move for the family.
- Dennis' school is raffling off live chickens, and Dennis gets John Wilson to buy tickets. He wins and wants to cook the chicken but Dennis won't allow it.
- Dennis and his classmates eagerly participate in a "Junior Astronaut" savings-stamp program. The child who buys the most stamps will win a trip to Cape Canaveral to meet an astronaut.
- Dennis has a rabbit's foot that he swears brings him good luck. When Mr Wilson has some bad luck, Dennis offers the rabbit's foot to Mr Wilson, but it seems to backfire.
- Mr Wilson develops an allergy and the doctor cannot figure out what is the irritant. Mr Wilson soon realizes it might be an allergy to Dennis since that is the only time he sneezes.
- It's Children's Day in Court, and Dennis is the Judge! Mr Wilson goes to court to dispute a ticket he received for violating a city ordinance.
- The store owner tries to keep a dog out of his store. He puts the dog outside, and when Mr Wilson leaves the store, he follows Mr Wilson home. Now, Mr Wilson tries to keep the dog out of his yard.
- In a case of mistaken property, Dennis takes Mr Wilson's lawn edger to give his father. When Mr Wilson finds his edger is missing, he takes one from Mrs Elkins.
- Dennis befriends a hermit who may be a Civil War veteran -- and whom Mr. Wilson would like to interview.
- After helping Dennis research a school report about an island off the coast of Mexico --"the Isle of Happiness"-- Mr. Wilson decides he and his wife should spend a year there. But they quickly change their minds when they see how the schoolteacher who will rent their home while they're away plans to change the house; and then learn that their niece, Georgianna, is going to have a baby.
- Dennis makes a bad impression on the new school principal and as a result, is not allowed to pitch in the championship baseball game.
- Mr Wilson has a chance to write a biography of a famous author by pretending he is a young and vigorous. When the actress visits, he needs to dye his hair black to look younger. Dennis & Tommy mix up the bottles of hair dye.
- Dennis, along with his parents and the Wilsons, visits the San Diego Zoo to bring back a chimpanzee for their town zoo. However, the chimp causes a ruckus at the motel where they are staying overnight.
- George's Uncle Ned visits while George is out of town. He decides to plant flowers to win a flower contest in the summer. Dennis says he will help plant the flower bulbs so he does not have to play with Margaret.
- While still in San Diego, the Wilsons receive a visit from their nephew, Ted, a young sailor. When Dennis and Mr. Wilson get stuck in back of a laundry truck returning to the Naval base, their attempt to escape leads to the confusion of Mr. Wilson's being mistaken for an expected demolitions expert.
- In order to buy an expensive camera, Mr. Wilson decides to sell his collection of first editions.
- Henry gets a bonus at work, and when airline tickets to Hawaii arrive in the mail, Alice thinks the tickets are for Henry and her. However, Mr Wilson purchased the tickets as a surprise for Mrs Wilson and had them mailed to the Mitchells.
- Henry does not want to play golf with his boss and hopes it will rain. He is even willing to pay for it. Dennis and Tommy perform rain dances to get it to rain despite the fact that it has been rainless for ten days.
- Mr. Wilson wants to interview several gypsies for an article he's writing, but the gypsies are suspicious of outsiders. So he disguises himself as a gypsy in order to meet with them.
- Dennis finds a stray dog and wants to keep him. In one day, the dog causes a lot of problems.
- Dennis is curious about what "falling in love" means. And the fights and reconciliations of three couples - his parents, the Wilsons, and a teenage couple - only makes him more confused.
