- Someone sent Wayne Newton a message saying he is a fake and if he continues to perform he will die. So Wayne calls Dan and tries to find out who this guy is.
- A criminal just as he is leaving the courthouse with his lawyer, after beating another rap, is shot by a man driving a car like Dan's and dressed like Dan. Dan is brought in and he can't account for his whereabouts at the time of the shooting. When the witness can't make a positive id, Dan's released and he tries to find out who's impersonating him. Later another criminal is killed and this time the witness says it's Dan.
- At the insistence of worried parents, Dan teams up with a beautiful psychic, Cynthia Jennnings (Cristina Ferrare) to find their kidnapped daughter (Karlene Crockett). Ransom is 2 million in diamonds. Binzer tries to help Bea go on a diet.
- A Russian who was testing a new fighter plane decides to defect and goes to Las Vegas and lands at the nearby military base. One of the bases intelligence men is contacted by an informant who tells him that the Russians have mobilized a team to take out the pilot and the plane. He learns one of the members of the team is a Las Vegas based private investigator who's an explosive expert. So he calls Dan to help him. Before he can meet Dan the men grab him and his contact and take them away. They are later found killed in a car accident which Dan claims is not true. Dan is later taken to the base who fills in on the Commanding officer what his friend told him and that he wants to help. So Dan tries to find the man his friend wants him to find. Can he find them before they make their move.
- French detective Rambeua (Louis Jourdan) returns to investigate male escorts, including Randolph Mantooth. He stays with Dan and Bea dates Mantooth.
- Victor Durand once ran a bogus clinic before Dan sent him to prison. Now Durand takes revenge by stealing a toxin, infecting Dan with it, and taunting him, while Dan and his doctors frantically search for a cure to keep Dan alive.
- Two men grab Dan out of his place and take him to the desert where they try to kill him but Dan tries to get away but is shot. When Dan is found and taken to the hospital. When he wakes up, he discovers he's blind. Dan thinks that the case he was currently working on, wherein an oilman suspects another oilman whom he is competition for some oil leases, is mobbed up, is why someone tried to kill him, because it looks like a mob hit. And later one of the doctors at the hospital tells Dan than his blindness was not caused by the gun shot. The doctor thinks it could be psychological which Dan doesn't believe.
- A couple (Pamela Franklin and Jerry Ayres) are at their wedding anniversary. 2 masked men rob the restaurant, and then machine gun all the patrons.
- Three young girls who are on probation are being coerced by their probation officer to help him extort men who came to town looking for a little action from young girls. One of the girls' mother suspects something's going on hires Dan to find out and help them.
- Dan fatally shoots a man who points a gun at him. When he finds out it was a young guy with a BB gun, Dan is deeply affected. He investigates the guy's life, which creates friction.
- When the casino takes in more chips than they dispensed, there's concern that someone has stolen the hotel's chips. So Dan talks to Clay Summer, who makes the chips and swears there's no way to take a chip out of the plant. When Clay's innocence is questioned, Dan sets out to prove his innocence. Clay's son Brad, who faked his death, is behind it and is working with plant employee Eddie Stolvak. When Eddie gets nervous, Brad kills Eddie and frames Dan.
- When a friend of Dan's is killed he sets out to find out who killed him. At the same time another friend, Justin Marsh a former race car driver is in town for a car show. Dan notices a woman following Marsh so he asks her what she wants she tells him to back off. Later someone takes a shot at Dan. He goes to the woman and sees Nelson with her and she tells him that Matsh may have been involved with his friend's death. She reveals that Marsh after his career ending accident was approached by man who convinced him to aid him with illegal businesses. His friend may have been involved with Marsh's activities and wanted out which is why he was killed. Dan doesn't believe it but when he checks Marsh out he changes his mind.
- A masked man kidnaps and rapes Bea's friend Lisa and Lisa thinks her boyfriend was killed in the attack. More attacks happen. Bea feels responsible and asks Dan to help.
- Nelson gets a call from one of his informants who asks Nelson to meet him. Nelson goes there and finds the man dead, that's when someone knocks him out. He then takes out Nelson's gun and puts another one in his hands. He then goes out and tampers with the phone and Nelson's radio. When Nelson wakes up he tries to call but can't, he then tries to use the radio but couldn't also. So he drives of. When he returns he finds police cars already there. An investigation ensues and they discover that it was Nelson's gun that was used to kill the man. Nelson says he was set up. Dan tries to help and finds out what happened to the phone and his radio. Nelson asks around and gets a lead on a private investigator, so he goes to see his employer a lawyer. The man doesn't tell him much because he's the one behind the whole thing. It seems like he wanted to stop one of Nelson's investigations.
- Joe Penny, June Lockhart, and Don Stroud. Regarding a vendetta, Dan is addicted to angel dust and heroin planted in Dan's morning health drink. He is, then, held captive. Lt. Nelson, Bea and Binzer are franticly looking for him.
- When two vagrants come across an attempted hit, and one of them is killed. The other calls Dan. When Dan goes to the place and asks Nelson to meet him and there are no signs of a hit. Dan then sees the vagrant; an old friend. Dan believes her and sets out to prove it. Later some men tell Dan to back off which he doesn't. Dan learns that the government may be involved. And the hit men set out to find her.
- Roth is planning to put a hotel casino in Toronto and to help him with financing, he organizes a consortium of businessmen. But they're having a hard time on deciding who should be in charge. Roth wants Paul Bracken, one of his people and Dan's brother in law to be the one. But one of the members of the consortium, Mel Brandon, wants to be the one in charge. So sets out to make Paul undesirable by going after Dan and everyone around him, Bea and Binzer.
- When pimp Luke Manning is gunned down in his home, women's rights activist Virginia Marshall is accused, hires Dan, and tells him she couldn't have killed Luke because her gun was stolen two weeks earlier.
- A couple of men who know Binzer are staying at the hotel and when they see they jump him, Dan tries to help but they get away. Binzer tells Dan he doesn't know them. Later they show up at Binzer's place and it seems that a few years ago Binzer helped them rob someone and they were caught and were sent to prison for three years and Binzer got away with the money. Binzer claims that he lost the money but they don't believe him. They tell Binzer to get the money or else they'll turn him in for being an accomplice in the robbery.
- When Dan was in Vietnam, he once defied the orders of Captain North, who wound up crippled. North hires goons to help him take revenge by terrorizing Dan and the people around him.
- Bea on final approach of her 1st solo flight, see's a murder on the ground. Tannna, Nelson and Bea go to the home and are met by the wealthy Lyle Jeffries-Patrick Macnee. A pool party is taking place so no one believes Bea, except Dan.
- A girl Two Leaf knows comes to town to take care of some business. Later she's killed with Two Leaf's knife and he has scratches on his face that matches her hands. Dan thinks he's being set up but Nelson has no choice but to take him in. Later a television reporter is trying to paint Two Leaf as a danger to society. Upon hearing this he breaks out of jail.
- Temperamental tennis pro Bobby Howard has been receiving threatening phone calls. His coach Sid Green hires Dan to protect Bobby, who doesn't want it. Meanwhile, Binzer tries to stop Tommy Cirko's petty larceny: impersonating a minister.
- When someone with a grudge against Nelson goes after his family, he tries to handle it on his own. But Dan insists on helping.
- While trying to spend a romantic Christmas with Rocket in the mountains, Dan's long lost daughter shows up. He finds that he did know her mother 12 years ago, and she (Jill Whelan) is 11 and a half.
- Binzer goes to see Paula Conway a hypnotist for a little self improvement. But what he doesn't know is she has been hired by some malefactors to turn him into their private assassin. When Tanna notices Binzer has been missing for several days he looks for him. While looking for Binzer, Tanna runs into Jamie Randall, an old friend, who is a reporter doing research on point shaving at college basketball games. It seems the men who hired Paula are the ones behind the point shaving and Binzer being hypnotized to kill Jamie and a player whom they approached who turned them down, plus collateral damage and anyone who gets in Binzer's way. (The trigger word that will turn Binzer lethal is "superstar".)
- A $2,500/night call girl is shot by her pimp, Phil, Dick Sargent. Meanwhile Dan is falling in love with Pam, Priscilla Barnes. Unbeknownst to Dan, she is one of Phil's girls named Satin @$5,000/night. Dan's running headlong into heartbreak.
- When a singer who's suppose to perform at the hotel is sexually assaulted, she asks for private investigator. So the manager calls Dan. She wants Dan to keep it quiet out of fear that it could ruin her career and life. So Dan asks Nelson to make it quiet. He then goes to a rape counselor who tells Dan that her attacker will do it again. What Dan doesn't know is that her attacker could be closer to her than he thinks
- Dan comes looking for Roth and finds a man named Rodmore in charge. So Dan tries to find Roth to find out what's going on but he appears to have vanished. So he tries to find out why Roth turned control of the company to Rodmore. At the same time someone is following Dan.
- Newlywed Gary Cole goes to buy some jewelry for his wife Wendy, and disappears. When Wendy realizes he's missing, nobody that she questions seems to recognize the couple. Her hysteria only hampers Dan's investigation.
- When several people including Bea are attacked by a person wearing black, Dan sets out to find out who and why. Eventually he learns that Bea and all the other victims just came from a vacation in Mexico. As Dan searches for the killer and other possible victims, he meets a reporter who wants to do a story. Dan reluctantly lets her join him.
- Dan helps a nun locate some property that was bequeathed to her. He learns that the property is the land that Roth's hotel is on. While Roth tries to deal with her. Someone tries to kill her.
- A teenager gets assaulted at the seedy Pinecrest Hotel. Her mother's friend, begs Dan to take the case. Meanwhile, the pimp threatens to harm another teenage girl if she doesn't turn tricks.
- Dan's love interest Christy Winters is strangled in her hotel room. Her friend tries to help him solve the case and becomes the next victim. Both girls were with Dan right before their murders, leaving Dan badly grief-stricken.
- A cop from San Francisco who's a friend of Dan's comes to Vegas. It seems that someone is targeting cops, sending them messages telling them when they will be killed usually with a number in it. The man follows the cop and kills him in front of Dan. Dan notices two women when his friend was killed. Dan decides to go to San Francisco and is shunned by the police department but decides to investigate nonetheless and sees the women and later learns that they're cops who were sent by his friend's boss to keep an eye on him. Their boss wants Dan to leave but upon learning that he made some discoveries decides to let Dan stay.
- Dan is hired by a man to look for his daughter who is pregnant. While Dan tries to find her someone is following him. When he eventually finds her, she calls her father to come but when he arrive she claims he is not her father. That's when he pulls a gun.
- When a prospector comes across some men that ends with some of the men being shot.He goes over and gets the two bags they brought with them In one of them is papers and in the other is money. So he goes into town and starts to spend some of it, he even tries to give Dan some who refuses. And when Dan asks him where he got, he gives a lame story. Later the men who want the papers track him down. And Dan is caught in the crossfire.
- A trio of beauties become suspiciously good at the baccarat table. Another player at the table, Everett Mason, wants in on their secret. As it turns out, so does aging French detective Nicholas Rambeau.
- Mike Logan hires Dan to find his daughter Jenny's rapist. Bella discovers that the serial rapist targets slender blondes in their late teens. When the rapist kills a victim, Jenny becomes a witness and Bea becomes a decoy.
- When a friend of Dan's who's also a P.I. is killed, his girlfriend asks him to look into it. At the same time, there's a P.I. convention going on at the hotel and some other P.I.s are getting killed. A female P.I. knows something but she's not willing to share it. When an attempt is made on her, she reveals that she and other P.I.'s were hired to solve a case that's been unsolved for years.
- Bea meets a guy while on vacation and gets engaged. She brings him to Vegas to meet everyone. When Tanna sees him he recognizes him as Miles Glover (now calling himself "Drew Marley"), the man who stole away a girl Tanna was dating years earlier. Later, she died mysteriously and he walked away with her money. Unfortunately, Dan's word is not enough so he tries to get information and find the sister of the dead girl who knew the man back then. Meanwhile, Glover/Marley tries to ensure that Tanna does not spoil his plans.
- Tanna is kidnapped by a cartel of illegal casino operators who recruit him to kill Philip Roth, whom they see as a threat when they learn that Roth plans to expand his casino empire into international markets. They do this by taking Tanna to their base in Hawaii and hypnotize him to try to get him to kill Roth.
- Part 2 of 2. Tanna, after a series of rigorous torture sessions involving hypnosis and high-frequency noise intended to program him into killing Roth, manages to trick Remick and his henchmen into thinking that their efforts were successful. Unknown to them, Tanna has used a candle to make earplugs and a splinter in his mouth to block pain impulses used in the sessions. Giving him a rifle loaded with wax bullets, Tanna aims and fires at what he's led to believe is Roth, but is simply another test, as the floating body turns out to be that of a double, and is alive and well. Shortly after this, federal agents arrive and question Tanna, who learns that he and The Commission have been under surveillance all along, and that Roth has been in protective custody and not in any danger. Though initially enraged at the thought of agents sitting idly by while he was tortured, Tanna agrees to help in their investigation to bring Remick and his men to justice.
- Model Shawn Adams' agent Nat Finer is a two-bit hustler whose shady friend Mr. Smith drugs Shawn, takes X-rated photos of her, then tries to blackmail her into a five-year contract.
- Chief Gray Bear is trying to stall a Japanese businessman's construction project on the reservation.
- Dan's hired by a designer who's at the hotel to unveil her new line. It seems some of her models are being terrorized and one of them is Dan's ex. While investigating, the men who are terrorizing them are putting their plan in motion. One of the men who fears that Dan's ex who saw him commit one of their acts against them might identify him kills her which makes things more personal for Dan.
- Tanna investigates the mysterious disappearances of beautiful Las Vegas showgirls and discovers they have been abducted by a white slaver. When he gets caught trying to rescue them, Binzer and Roth try to rescue him.
- Dan's childhood friend visits Vegas. Unknown to Dan, he is the felon who kills Erwin Levy and wounds Roth in the process. Will Philip Roth be the next victim?
- Savings and loan president Tyler Dickinson murders investment counselor Cy Winters and then Binzer's girlfriend Kim Sarrason. Binzer is first devastated and then vindictive. Can Dan prevent Binzer from exacting vigilante justice?
- Call girl Lexy Gardner is shot dead, so her mother hires Dan to find out who did it and how Lexy wound up hooking. The case expands to involve singer Eddie Banning, tennis pro Lou Spitz, and contractor William Virgil.
- Dan is targeted by a man who's trying to get a gaming license because Dan has a videotape that shows him consorting with criminals. He sends a professional hit man to get Dan but he misses. He abducts Mitch Costigian, Dan's friend and holds him to get Dan to turn the tape over to him.
- Some men try to rob the hotel but something goes wrong and they take some the showgirls hostage and Bea who was there watching them was also taken. They hold up in a room where the cops can't get to them. The leader then demands 5 million dollars or else he'll kill one of the girls every hour. And to prove he's serious, he kills one and sends her down the elevator. Dan tries to find a way to save the girls and Bea.
- A senator gets photographed in a compromising position with three housewives whose husbands neglect them. When one girl is run down by a car, it's obvious that all three are in danger from a vengeful victim.
- Dan is hired to be the escort and bodyguard of Princess Zara during her stay in Las Vegas. But political problems follow her. Fanatic Lucille tries to kill both Dan and Zara before she herself is shot dead in Zara's hotel room.
- Mitch Costigian, Dan's Army buddy who's been away for sometime returns to town to perform at the hotel. He's also a newlywed. When he and Dan go to the hotel, his wife stays behind to fix things at the house. Later someone plants an explosive and blows the house up. Mitch is devastated. Later Dan learns that the explosive used is similar to what was used in Vietnam. So Dan thinks there may be a link to their time in Vietnam to what happened to Mitch's wife. Mitch is on a mission to find the one who killed his wife.
- Cocaine smuggler Marty Trafalgar tries to retire, but his former partner Wendell Milliken from Miami won't allow him to do so.
- Sister Bridget Callahan hires Dan to find drug addict Jimmy Porter and recover the Cross of Casseras, which Jimmy stole from her New Mexico mission to sell to someone else. But she won't reveal Jimmy's name, thereby complicating Dan's task.
- Daredevil Shara Stanley's drunken mechanic Bill Woods tries to talk her out of a dangerous stunt because her beneficiaries plan to sabotage it and have her killed so they can collect on her insurance.
- A headlining, talented, versatile illusionist and female impersonator is receiving bizarre death threats. His manager says he's just over reacting. When he reaches out to Dan Tanna for help, Dan begins, also, to get death threats.
- Psychotic Jack Schulman is killing prostitutes. Amateur criminologist Philiip Graykirk sees a pattern similar to the Jack-the-Ripper murders and predicts more deaths to come.
- Faded singer Ginny Gordon's comeback is threatened, and her sanity imperiled, by attempts on her life. Is her former partner responsible for the attempts, or is a recent acquaintance terrorizing her?
