- A world-famous opera singer suffering from physical and emotional exhaustion is admitted to a hospital for recuperation. Joe's attitude changes when he learns that the Lamino's are American born, and that the late Mr. Lamino gave his life valiantly during the war and was the recipient of the Congressional medal of honor. When Joe discovers that his own son Bill (B.G. Norman) was one of the assailants, Joe become painfully aware that the whole situation was started by his own prejudice.
