- A period drama where a small-town father (Patric) is forced to make difficult, heartbreaking decisions in order to save his two daughters.
- Ling Min becomes the manager of Haier Factory when the factory is almost bankrupted. He has had no formal education, but on his own, he systematically studies Western theories of industrial management and such classical Chinese philosophies as Confucianism, Taoism, and Suntzu. His first challenge is from the Chinese workers, technicians, and officers, who have been trained to work under the old system and unable to function sufficiently in the new era of international competition. Once his products become good enough, he has to face severe competition, and, in some cases, humiliations, from well-established foreign companies. He and his company succeed in becoming the first Chinese private company to enter the international market, because of hard work, scientific management, and the combination of Western and Eastern philosophy.
- Inspired by a true story, CROSSING THE RIVER is a narrative short film about a modern day hate crime. White teenage brothers Grant and Shawn, estranged from their mother, find the connection they are seeking with a racist older man. Michaela, an innocent 13 year old from a biracial family, is new in town. After tensions in the boys' lives escalate, a cross is burned on Michaela's lawn. The film explores the points of view of both the victim and perpetrators, and seeks to reveal how someone can be influenced to do something morally unspeakable.
- The film includes the following segments: Natural Humanship, Smoke the Donkey, SAVE the Havasupai Pack Animals, Heaven's Gait, The Abaco Island Project, and The Hanging Barn, and ends with a call to action.
- Set just before 1900's Whisperings is about the friendship of two young boys that's broken under the guidance of parental bigotry.
- Following the Civil War battle in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Sgt. Richard Kirkland, a farm boy from South Carolina, is torn by the unearthly sounds of the suffering Federal soldiers. By morning, he can stand it no longer. He gathers up as many canteens as he can manage, and does the unthinkable.
- A tired mother of an epileptic child reluctantly allows a young, wide-eyed pastor to attempt to save her daughter from her "affliction of the Devil".
- LeVar goes to South Carolina to ride a hot-air balloon. In another study of how air travel has advanced, schoolchildren visit the Space Camp for Aspiring Young Astronauts. William Windom reads the story of Hot-Air Henry, the misadventures of a cat who sneaks on board his family's hot air balloon and how he gets back down again.
