- Two hands collect mud from a puddle and begin to shape it. Are they the hands of a child, of a primordial being, of a god? The hands manipulate the shapeless substance, create increasingly complex figures. An entire city of clay is built. But the creative instinct is still strong and the hands continue to shape, this time an anthropomorphic figure, a puppet of mud. The clay-stained fingers trace letters on the creature's forehead to form the word EMET, "life". The puppet, the Golem, opens his eyes. He comes alive, interacts with himself, with the environment, with his own reflection. And then it is contaminated in its turn by the desire for creation, by the urgency of shaping. But creation and destruction feed themselves.
