- Imagine if succulent saltwater barramundi was readily available for a bargain price at your local supermarket. That is what could result from a grand aquaculture scheme in the Tiwi Islands off the north of Australia. The project's managers say the sea cage farm could eventually produce up to 10,000 tonnes of barramundi a year.
