- This film is very interesting, in which is seen a large number of men loading a freight train with building stone. The picture was taken near picturesque Mauch Chunk.
- Characteristic and entertaining pictures in and about Mauch Chunk. Pa., and other interesting pictures taken in and about the anthracite coal regions of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., comprise this issue of "See America First." So much is read of the work accomplished by the coal miners of Pennsylvania that these pictures will no doubt prove the most interesting of their kind ever released. One of the features of this release is a series of views obtained on a trolley trip in the Pennsylvania mountains upon which many scenes of great beauty were obtained.
- On the Lehigh Valley Railroad. This place is described in books of travel as "The Switzerland of America." The scene begins with the camera looking down the hill toward the Mansion Hotel. The camera is slowly revolved from right to left, making an entire sweep of this most picturesque city nestled in the hills of the Pohohoka Mountains, with the Susquehanna River winding through their midst. The camera being on the side of the mountains, at an elevation of about 200 feet, furnishes a most excellent view of Mauch Chaunk and all the surrounding hills. This picture is absolutely perfect photographically and a most interesting subject.
- There is no more romantic piece of scenery in Pennsylvania, and this locality has become a famous and favorite resort for summer visitors. From start to finish the scenes are most enchanting, and when the base of Mt. Pisgah is reached the observation cars are drawn to the top of the mountain, up an incline two thousand three hundred and twenty-two feet long, and rising six hundred and sixty-four feet. When the summit is reached the cars proceed on their journey, propelled by gravity, amid scenes which are truly picturesque. Truly a fine piece of photography.
