- Stanislaw Kolicki is a spy who operates as Hans Kloss in the German Abwehr during the Second World War.

Ariel does his best to supply shelter and food for Majka but the pair are constantly at risk of being found out as the commander is involved in other investigations around the lake. Ariel and Majka begin to develop a restrained romance. Ariel visits Majka's father in the city and attempts to mend the divisions between father and daughter. Majka, who is now staying in an abandoned old cruiser on a remote part of the lake becomes sick. Ariel is forced to seek help from doctor Badowska who tends to majka on board the boat. Ariel starts to feel that perhaps the doctor is not so bad after all. It becomes apparent that the situation is approaching the point at which a resolution is needed. This is a story about growing up. It's about the realisation that life situations are rarely straightforward, people have different perspectives and compromise is often necessary in order to reach an adequate solution.

- Stakes Larger Than Life (Polish title: Stawka wieksza niz zycie") is a very succesful Polish black & white Tv-series about the adventures of a secret agent, Hans Kloss. His from Poland, his real name is Stanislaw Kolicki, codename: J-23. Hans acts as a double agent in Abwehr during II World War in occupied Poland. A true life story from the second world war. Stanislaw was a double for the real German officer and was allowed to "escape" back to Germany and take the place of Hans Kloss in the Abwehr where he caused all sorts of trouble and made the Nazis suspect each other of being agents or traiters while never coming under serious suspicion himself. Eventually even gaining a promotion to Captain in the process. All the episodes are excellent and can be watched separately because the plots are not interconnected. The series was filmed since 1967 to 1968 and it had 18 episodes. Directors: Janusz Morgenstern and Andrzej Konic, each directed 9 episodes. Main role: Stanislaw Mikulski as Hans Kloss (lieutenant, later captain Kloss/J-23). Running time: 45-90 min. Original channel: Polish Television.
