- Everyone is on a collision course as they arrive at the Winter Festival on Llantano Mountain. Cole and Starr's carefree evening together turns into a nightmare when they spot Marty and then Blair and Todd. Todd is amused by Blair's predicament when Miles admits Marty is at the festival with him. Still hurting over her break up, Evangeline argues with Layla when she sees her sister with Cristian. Although not angry, Marty sets Miles straight about telling the truth and not making assumptions about dates. Rex draws his line in the sand with Tate where Adriana is concerned. Things go from bad to worse when the road down the mountain is closed due to weather. As night falls, Blair, Evangeline, Layla and Marty are forced to share one room and are soon at each others' throats. Down the hall, Todd, Miles, Tate and Cristian make miserable roommates. Starr, Cole and Langston end up sharing space with a scheming Britney. Rex and Adriana, however, end up by themselves for the moment.
- A tipsy Blair snipes at Marty and Evangeline as she bitches about having to share a room with them. Not wanting to deal with Blair, Evangeline and Marty scurry to find somewhere else to spend the night. Meanwhile, the men aren't getting along any better as Cristian attacks Todd when Todd implies he was going to spend the night with Evangeline. Miles latches onto every word as he eavesdrops on Rex and Adriana talking about real love. Miles privately hopes to find real love with Marty. Tate leaves Todd and Evangeline alone when she arrives at Todd's room. Cristian jumps to the wrong conclusion about his ex and Todd. Cristian and Blair take action to try and stop the pain they feel. Starr and Cole rethink their decision to take things further. Britney is prepared to blow Starr and Cole out of the water. Tate "innocently" barges in on Rex and Adriana's time alone.
- Layla doesn't pass judgment on Cristian when she discovers that he and Blair slept together. Evangeline appreciates the fact that Todd didn't try and pressure her into sleeping with him but later becomes angry upon learning that Todd offered to pay Tate to leave them alone together. Evangeline jumps to the wrong conclusion when she sees Layla with Cristian and assumes they slept together. Layla is hurt her sister would think the worst about her. Cristian admits to Blair he doesn't think Evangeline and Todd slept together after all. Langston is unable to protect her friends from Britney's scheming. All hell breaks loose when Marty, Todd and Blair discover that Starr and Cole spent the night together. Todd lunges at Cole, believing he and Starr had sex. Starr and Cole's lives are completely shattered as their parents warn them of things to come. Miles turns to Rex for advice on how to win a woman. Adriana gets an eyeful when she walks in on Tate unannounced. Tate continues to be a thorn in Rex's side.
- Todd barely clings to life as he realizes he's been set up. Blair worries when she awakes to find Todd gone and tries to track him down. Todd manages to get to his cell phone to answer Blair's call but passes out. Blair panics when the line -- and quite possibly Todd -- goes dead. Cristian and Evangeline are simultaneously relieved and disappointed that they won't be having a baby after all. Cristian and Evangeline's rapprochement is derailed when the subject of Todd comes up. Once alone, Evangeline is hit with a great sense of loss. Talia advises Antonio how to handle Nash and hopes he won't resort to violence. Jessica and a jubilant Nash make plans to meet at Rodi's at midnight after Jessica beaks things off with Antonio. Jessica braces herself as she begins to tell her husband she's in love with another man. Starr has one dance with Cole but forces herself to walk away without kissing him. Henry gets clued in on how Britney has been playing him, thanks to Langston.
- Nash tells Clint the truth that he loves Jessica and that she returns his feelings. Meanwhile, Jessica shatters Antonio's heart when she comes clean and admits that she is in love with Nash. Antonio is further wrecked when Jessica confesses that she and Nash made love at the quarry. Antonio doesn't hide his emotions nor does he let Jessica off the hook when he bluntly states he wishes he had never even met her. Nash and Antonio come face to face. Lindsay, Cristian, Nora and Talia are treated at the hospital and will make a full recovery but Evangeline slips into a coma. A distraught Layla will accompany her sister as she's transferred to a special care facility. Bo assigns John to take over the hate crimes investigation because of Antonio's involvement with Jessica's serious illness. Old habits die hard as Nora can't help bickering with Lindsay. Starr admits to Marcie that she was jealous when she saw Cole go off with Britney. Langston is impressed when she watches Markko do a few dance moves. Keeping up a macho stance in front of his friends, Markko rudely blows Langston off when she suggests he take a role in the musical.
- Jessica is an emotional wreck as she berates herself to Natalie. Natalie won't have Jessica beating herself up and insists she focus on getting better. Antonio confronts Nash, wondering how Nash could have claimed to be his friend while carrying on an affair with his wife. Nash absorbs hit after emotional hit as Antonio forces him to face the ramifications of his actions. Antonio grows more and more emotional as he physically attacks Nash. Unaware that the truth has come out, Cristian pulls Antonio away from Nash and urges him to return to Jessica's room. Britney apologizes to the kids in the auditorium for her role in the incident with Henry but her mea culpa doesn't go over as she hoped it would. Langston enjoys seeing Britney suffer but Starr puts a stop to it. John warns Marty to keep her eyes open around Miles and later wants to dig up information on him. Miles's exhibits some strange behavior as he hatches a plan involving Marty. Vincent gives Layla a shoulder to lean on.
- Lindsay encourages Cristian to pick up his paint brush again. Cristian admits to Lindsay that he isn't sure Antonio will ever forgive him. John and Cristian make a surprising discovery at the studio. Marty is more troubled than she lets on to Cole and John. Miles overhears Marty making an appointment with a fellow psychologist. Kirk and Tate sign up to be tested as possible liver donors in an attempt to do damage control to Tate's reputation. Dorian pushes Kirk towards Viki. Rex goes behinds Adriana's back when he makes a call to start investigating Tate again. Cole and Starr are thrown together during the rehearsals for the musical. Cole feels bad for Britney when he learns her parents forgot her birthday and asks her out. Starr is upset and jealous to learn Cole is going out with Britney. Langston challenges Markko to audition for the play and he passes with flying colors. Bo is touched by a gesture from Lindsay.
- John recalls something that strengthens his suspicion about Marty's involvement in Spencer's murder. Marty's nerves are frazzled as she's forced to keep her sham marriage alive. Viki is surprised to learn about Miles and Marty's sudden marriage. An upset Cole turns to John, who promises everything will work out. John summons Marty to his office wanting to know what she isn't telling him about why she really married Miles. Langston clashes with Markko during the rehearsals for the musical and neither has a date for the prom. Langston is clearly attracted to Markko but keep her feelings to herself. Markko asks Starr to be his date for the prom. Britney looks forward to going to the prom with Cole. Bo forms a plan to set a trap for the arsonist/bomber using Lindsay's gallery as a possible target. Kirk is left with an uneasy feeling when Bo tries to subtly question him about Tate. Rex remains suspicious of Tate and cautions Adriana to be careful.
- "Prom Night: The Musical" begins. Starr and Cole are miserable over the fact they aren't going to the prom together but Starr sticks to her resolve. Dorian comes to Starr's rescue when she produces the perfect gown at the last minute. Blair shares a warm moment with her daughter. John meets with the warden at Statesville to try and secure David's release as part of his plan to smoke out the real killer. John contacts Marty. Blair clings to the belief that Todd is still alive. Todd seems to be a death's door but his savior could be nearby.
- "Prom Night: The Musical" continues. Starr is certain that her father carried her to the hospital but a sympathetic Viki knows Starr only saw what she wanted to see. Cole is desperate to find Starr as they both sing about wanting the person they long for to appear. Cole is amazed when he finds Starr's phone by the side of the road and realizes how close she had been. Britney can't fight her true nature when she intercepts Starr's call to Marrko and torments Starr by lying and saying that she and Cole are having the time of their lives together. Back to form, Britney does a number driving home the point that the cheerleader is always a bitch. Viki acts as Starr's fairy godmother of sorts when she convinces her to go be with Cole at the prom. After several near misses, Starr and Cole finally find themselves in each other's arms at the magic hour. Marcie tries to play matchmaker when she arranges for Marrko and Langston to be named King and Queen of the Prom. Marty and Blair are none too pleased when they both find themselves at the Palace Bar. Marty starts to sweat when David comes up to the bar but he leaves without coming out and saying he suspects she killed Spencer. Blair and Marty share a rare, and also brief, moment of connection. Clint won't give in to David's attempt at blackmail and sends him packing.
- Jay must adapt to his young new wife, Gloria and her son. Meanwhile, Claire deals with her own family. Mitchell and Cam decide to adopt a baby.
