- Count Albert has taken the gypsy Sonia into his house. Olga, Albert's girlfriend, meets Sonia. She doesn't like the situation and writes to Albert that Sonia has to go to a boarding school. Sonia is sent to a nun's school. She doesn't like it and flees back to Albert. She declares her love for him but is rejected and returns to the gypsies. Albert becomes blind in an accident. After a while, Olga gets tired of nursing Albert and goes on holiday with her lover. Albert places an advertisement for a nurse and Sonia is hired. When her lover has left her, Olga returns home. Albert shows her the door, he loves Sonia now.
- An old man watches the half-undressed young wife of a couple through a hole in the wall. The couple realizes him and pretends that the woman is being murdered by the man, so that the old man alerts the police. Now he has to reveal his spying practices. The old man is taken away and an equally voyeuristic hotel clerk gets the police commissioner's walking stick in his eye.
- Comical scene of a man who tries to eat in a restaurant but experiences all kinds of strange adventures. Objects change shape and when his food is brought, the servers become smaller and smaller. When his food is finally on the table and the man wants to eat, the pig turns into a pan with all kinds of shoes in it. Every time the man throws away what comes to his table, it turns into something else.

- Two spouses whose union has remained sterile, of which they accuse each other, tell a charlatan of their desire to have a child. The magician immediately grants their wish and, through a process of which he has the secret, grants them a nice little girl. Faced with such ease, the husband in turn asks for a boy. The mischievous magician this time rewards him with a monkey which is rejected with horror, but which is quickly transformed into a pretty baby. The mother cannot breastfeed her children, so the charlatan throws a nurse's costume, two balloons and milk into a mortar; then crushing everything, he creates by mysterious means a busty nanny who immediately takes care of her infants. The parents express their gratitude to the learned magician who, while taking leave of his visitors, is the victim of a grotesque accident which ends the scene.
