Working furiously, Baxter suffers a heart attack, and staggers up to see the doctor for treatment. He passes out immediately, but awakens a cured man. But at a terrible price. The Doctor, a strangely preserved woman named Shockner, persuades Baxter to stay until he recovers fully, and informs her "patient" of the medical condition that has forced her into a hermit's existence. Twenty years ago Shockner suffered a fatal disease. Her solution found in the occult and dark arts, preserved her life but at the cost. Slowly Baxter is drawn into a nightmarish world of insane experiments and murder. He knows something must be done to stop the evil that resides in the room at the top of the stairs.

"How to kiss a dead girl" is a story of displacement, of failed attempts at reconnecting and of gaps in human communication.

- A young rebel oversteps the border between stage and life on the trail of François Villon. The sensuous-poetic film is an appeal to dream and a homage to the great actor Klaus Kinski. Klaus is an actor and lives a life between attack and escape from love and desperation. He leaves the city while searching for expression and finds a place to hide that he uses as his stage. At this far away place he bares his inside. The farmer whom the barn belongs to is distraught and can't cope with the intruder's power of articulations. He tells him to get off that place. The young man keeps searching and finds an oasis of freedom in a sunflower field. While lying in the middle of those flowers he devotes to his yearning for love. He speaks Villon's poem "I fell in love with your red hair". Because of being deeply moved by the sunflowers' beauty, he takes one of them as a sign for his love back to the city. On his way he gets again and again into situations of obsessive self-uncovering. The borders between life and stage merge and makes him to the mockery of his fellow human beings. Klaus changes into a tragic-funny figure. His odyssey finally leads him onto a theater stage. But his yearning for expression, love and devotion stays unsatisfied.

- The heroic and passionate life of Marianne Golz, a Viennese operetta singer, executed in 1943 by the Nazi regime in Prague. After fleeing from Berlin to Prague in 1934 to avoid the Nazi persecution of her Jewish husband, Marianne becomes part of a secret organization that helps Jewish people to escape the country. Marianne, a beautiful, energetic and modern woman, was married three times and even in jail she never gave up with love. A few months before her death she falls in love with Richard Macha, a political prisoner she had met in jail. Their intense and desperate relationship, carried on through secret love messages, guides them through the last days of their life. Marianne was executed by guillotine the 8th October 1943 in the Pankrac prison. He followed her a few months later, in the same way.

Lesbians on the Loose also asks the question- can one magazine be all things to all people? Is there such a thing as a lesbian community? Still free to street, still woman-centered, and still polarising opinion, LOTL is a magazine like no other.
