- Konrad von Seidlitz is a young yuppie lawyer currently celebrating his engagement with Cornelia, daughter of minister of justice Volkerts.
- November 1990. Weekend. Three young turk men accompanied by two German women were taking the subway. They were in an exuberant mood and wanted to visit a discotheque. When a group of drunken neo-nazi youngsters entered the train an open confrontation arose. It ended bloody. The film follows the protagonists up to the event (and some time beyond) which took place in Berlin, Germany.

In the meantime the alchemists have discovered the formula of immortality, but decide to destroy their work. However Twon gets possession of one immortality pill which she manages to give to Tiang Fong before he's made a terracotta warrior too. China 1930. While on location a film crew discovers parts of the grave of emperor Qin guarded by the terracotta warriors. Tiang Fong, being immortal, awakes...
- Shigeo is an aspiring writer living with his girl friend Minako and hoping for success and a better tomorrow every day. Both live on what Minako earns from working in a café. Shigeo is not happy with the situation and neither is his family who do not approve of Minako. Especially his uncle tries to convince him to leave Minako, even using his influence behind the scenes. Things start to change when Shigeo's sister pays the young couple a visit, being the first member of Shigeo's family to actually get to know Minako in person.

In the final round the remaining two play against each other having to answer questions about the primetime news broadcast of the same day. The winner gets to sit in front of a conveyor belt with lots of goods or symbols representing goods and always including a question mark representing a surprise prize. Everything which can be recalled correctly afterwards, can be taken home.

Nobody seems to be able to break through this atmosphere, so they all still try to make the best out of the situation, but this is probably not the way to finish the film.
