- In the desolate aftermath of a technologically advanced society's collapse, the Coppertrail Outpost is a beacon of survival in the post-apocalyptic Old West. Grace Garnett of the Pearl Summit Brothel House is the formidable madam here and oversees groups of elite Breachers: cadres of adventurers embarking on perilous retrieval missions into the corrupted wastelands. This is where our story begins: with a group of Breacher-Hopefuls eager to prove their worth to the Madam. There's Gardenia, a flirtatious parlor girl, Lockleer, a cyber-enhanced bodyguard, Atlas, a lone wanderer, and Argo, Grace's adopted sticky-fingered daughter. Each has their own reasons for wanting to become a Breacher, but the same root desire: survival. If they keep their heads down and serve Grace well, maybe they'll manage to carve out a life for themselves. After retrieving a stolen heirloom, the four hopefuls are sent out into the wastelands proper with one goal: to find a fabled, long-lost artifact known as the Nexus and return it to Grace. The further they delve into the Corrupted, lonely ruins of the old world, they more they question their employer and her motivations. Is survival dependent on a group? Or the individual? Is there safety under Grace's watchful eye or should they cut loose and run? At its core, Breached is a story about outcasts, about hope, and about whether or not to trust. Will the prize be worth the cost?
