1.The End (1988)On the mining ship Red Dwarf, slobbish slacker Dave Lister dreams of a life in Fiji away from his annoying bunkmate Arnold Rimmer. When he's placed in suspended animation, he wakes up 3 million years later to find the entire crew are dead.

4.Waiting for God (1988)Lister learns he is the mythical god of Cat's people known as "Cloister the stupid" and Red Dwarf stumbles upon a Red Dwarf garbage capsule and Rimmer thinks it's a stasis capsule carrying a dormant alien woman.

6.Me² (1988)Rimmer moves into his new sleeping quarters with his holographic duplicate. Lister watches Rimmer's video containing footage of Rimmer's death, the two Rimmers start getting into a fight and Lister decides one of them has to be switched off.

7.Kryten (1988)The Red Dwarf crew intercepts a SOS distress call from the American Space cruiser "Nova 5", that has crashed on a moon. They find the only survivor is Kryten, an android butler, whose favorite TV show is 'Androids'.

8.Better Than Life (1988)A post pod carrying a 3 million year old bag of mail arrives and Rimmer becomes depressed when he learns his father is dead. The crew play an artificial game called "Better than life" which makes the players' wishes come true, but Rimmer's brain begins to rebel.

9.Thanks for the Memory (1988)After a long night of drinking and partying to celebrate the anniversary of Rimmer's death, Rimmer laments that nobody loved him in life. Feeling sorry for Rimmer, Lister decides to implant memories of his ex-girlfriend in Rimmer's mind.

10.Stasis Leak (1988)Rimmer, Lister and Cat find a time barrier called "Stasis Leak" on Floor 16 and it takes them back in time on Red Dwarf 3 million years earlier. Rimmer and Lister try to change the past, which puts either Rimmer or Kochanski into suspended animation so one of them doesn't die in the radioactive disaster.

11.Queeg (1988)Red Dwarf's back-up computer Queeg 500 takes command of Red Dwarf when Holly allows a meteorite to damage the ship and Rimmer to malfunction. The crew encourages Holly to challenge Queeg to a game of chess, where the loser gets erased from the system.

12.Parallel Universe (1988)Holly creates a new star drive called "Holly Hop Drive" that will warp Red Dwarf from one part of space to another within a matter of seconds. It all goes wrong when Red Dwarf enters an alternate dimension; The crew encounter female versions of themselves and Cat encounters another version of himself, a dog with a southern accent.

13.Backwards (1989)As Rimmer is taking Kryten for a driving lesson in Starbug they find themselves being whisked away through a time hole and end up on Earth, where time is running backwards.

14.Marooned (1989)The Red Dwarf crew abandons ship as Red Dwarf approaches black holes. Rimmer and Lister find themselves marooned on a ice planet, when Starbug is struck by a meteorite, where the only firewood is Rimmer's possessions and the only food they have is dog food and a pot noodle.

15.Polymorph (1989)The Red Dwarf crew encounter the Polymorph, a genetically engineered space mutant that drains the emotions from humans, that has arrived on-board Red Dwarf.

16.Bodyswap (1989)Red Dwarf becomes a booby-trap when Lister activates the self-destruct, which turns out to be the vending machine and Lister is implanted with the mind of one of the dead crew members and Rimmer believes it's the perfect way to help Lister get fit.

17.Timeslides (1989)The developing fluid that Kryten uses to process old photographs mutates and the photographs come alive. The Red Dwarf crew find they can go into the photograph, and Lister finds that the photographs allows them to go back in time and he plans on changing history so that he doesn't end up marooned in deep space.

18.The Last Day (1989)The crew receive a message from Kryten's manufacturer saying that he must be dismantled within 24 hours, at which time a more advanced mechanoid will arrive to replace him. Lister, Cat, Rimmer and Holly decided to throw Kryten a leaving party and give him one last night to remember.

19.Camille (1991)Rimmer and Kryten rescue Camille, a female android from a passenger ship that has crash landed. Kryten falls in love with Camille, only to learn Camille is not who she appears to be, and finds she can shape-shift into Kochanski, a female Rimmer and the Cat.

20.D.N.A. (1991)The Red Dwarf crew investigates a alien spaceship that is drifting in deep space. Where they discover a D.N.A modifier, a genetic altering machine that alters all organic life. But all havoc breaks loose, when Lister gets turned into a chicken, a hamster, Kryten becomes a human male and they create a curry monster from Lister's curry.

21.Justice (1991)The Red Dwarf crew pick up an escape pod containing either prison guard Barbra Bellini or a dangerous Simulant convict. They transport the pod back to Justice World where Rimmer finds himself put on trial for past crimes long forgotten.

22.White Hole (1991)After repairing Talkie Toaster, Kryten has the idea to restore Holly's 6,000 IQ at the cost of reducing her lifespan but she instead gains an IQ of 12,000. Meanwhile the Red Dwarf hurtles towards a white hole, the opposite of a black hole.

23.Dimension Jump (1991)Rimmer catches the crew going on a fishing trip without him, forcing them to reluctantly bring him along. However, Starbug collides with the ship of Ace Rimmer, a more popular and successful version of Rimmer from an alternate universe.

The crew are taken on a ride called "The Rimmer Experience," which recounts many outrageously fictionalized events from Rimmer's life on Red Dwarf.

The simulant kidnaps Kryten and commissions one of his own droids, Able, to fix him up. But Kryten and Able discover they're brothers, the same model, and Able helps Kryten escape. But not before Kryten discovers a disturbing secret about his creation...

43.Epideme (1997)The crew come across an abandoned ship with one survivor: Caroline Carmen, one of Lister's former crushes. She revives in the middle of the night and infects Lister with the dreaded Epideme virus, which threatens to kill him unless something is done. He tries talking with Epideme directly through a communication link, but nothing doing. He ends up losing an arm to the virus before Kochanski comes up with another solution.

44.Nanarchy (1997)As Lister falls into depression over the loss of his arm, Kryten has the idea to use Nanobots to grow him a new one, only Kryten's Nanobots are missing. Searching for the Nanobots, the crew find the Red Dwarf which has taken on a new form.

45.Back in the Red: Part 1 (1999)After crashing Starbug on the Red Dwarf, the crew are shocked to discover that the Nanobots have also revived the original crew, notably Captain Hollister who treats them as criminals. Lister is forced to turn to a revived Rimmer for help.

46.Back in the Red: Part 2 (1999)Rimmer uses the confidential reports provided by Holly to get into Captain Hollister's good graces but he soon forgets about his agreement of helping Lister. Meanwhile Lister, Cat, Kochanski and Kryten attempt a daring escape.
