Emma takes matters into her own hands and tells Snake about the baby. Snake and Spike have a long talk and decide the baby could be a blessing for them. It's the start of the school year. For their upcoming anniversary, penniless Spinner wants to get the perfect present for Paige. With Spike almost ready to give birth and with Spike and Snake's recent marriage, Emma has been thinking about her biological father, Shane McKay. But he has to work fast to attract her attention as others are also showing interest in her. With her new look however is also a new self-absorbed attitude. Meanwhile, Craig, Marco, Jimmy and Spinner have formed a yet unnamed band. Joey has allowed them to use his garage as a practice space. Joey is vicariously reliving his teen-aged years through the band much to Craig's chagrin.

Spinner does not react well to Marco coming out to him. Without initially actually outing Marco to the general populous, Spinner does whatever he can to freeze Marco out of his life. Spinner spreads the news amongst their closest group of friends, all of who think Spinner is acting like an idiot. Marco will need all the support he can when he learns first hand what it's like to be gay in an intolerant society. A specific incident pushes Marco further in the closet. Meanwhile, Snake's initial medical diagnosis is possible leukemia. He tries to make light of the situation, which affects Emma more than anyone. Regardless of the final diagnosis, his actions, in part because of the possible diagnosis of leukemia, benefit Degrassi as a whole.

Things are pretty hot between Craig and Ashley, but he's disappointed that she keeps pulling back from going all the way.

Emma decides it's time to move on in matters of the heart when she realizes she has feelings for new kid Chris.

From the heat they create at the premiere and the after premiere party, which they manage to crash, they move their evening to more serious matters as Paige witnesses the turbulence of Alex's home life first hand, to a quieter and more emotional ending to the night. On a more secretive level, Peter and Emma are each other's unofficial date for the evening, as Emma still needs to respect best friend Manny's distrust of Peter. Emma and Peter's evening reaches an almost romantic climax, this climax however interrupted as they witness an even more clandestine liaison than theirs, that between Emma's stepfather, Snake, and Peter's mother, Principal Hatzilakos.

Craig and his band finally get their big break when a company in Vancouver offers them a record deal. Liberty takes on far more projects than she can handle in her condition and ends up going into labor.

Emma, Manny, Spike and Jack are still trying to live without Snake. Jimmy is feeling unattractive in his wheelchair, but a passionate kiss from Ashley bolsters his confidence, not only with himself but with his lot in life. From this, he buries the hatchet with Spinner. Spinner is having relationship issues of his own. The kiss with Paige has left him a bit confused, but Darcy asks him to take her back, which he does. This return to Darcy leaves Spinner the task of telling Paige that nothing beyond that kiss can happen, however before he can do so, another tender moment with Paige leads to going all the way. Spinner really has to make some decisions and text messages Marco what happened with Paige and asks for advice. However his decisions are made for him as Paige is moving on from Degrassi post-graduation which does not include Spinner, and Darcy sees the text messages which leads to her dumping Spinner. His renewed friendship with Jimmy makes Spinner realize that he needs to take what he wants out of life and runs after Darcy before she leaves for Bible camp for the summer. Although she doesn't trust him since he broke his purification vows so easily, the last glance back before she gets on the bus leaves him with some hope.

Things intensify between Emma and Sean, and when she takes time off from Peter to consider her relationship with Sean, Peter takes action. Fiona attempts to self-medicate and ease herself of the stress she's been having, but her method of relaxation could ruin her legal case against Bobby Beckonridge. Riley's feeling the pressure of being an openly gay athlete as Coach Barnes has come to scout him.

In the mid-season finale, Alli discovers that Drew cheated on her with Bianca in the boiler room. Clare tries to patch things up between Eli and Fitz. Eli makes it worse by poisoning Fitz's drink. When Clare tries to apologize, she sees that Fitz has a knife and goes to get Eli. The school goes in lock down when Principal Simpson gets wind that someone has a knife. Clare finds Eli in an empty hallway but Fitz arrives. Fitz threatens Eli with a knife but fakes a stab and laughs in his face only to get caught by the police.

When her parents are asked to the school after fighting Bianca, they discover through her file all of her rebelliousness throughout the last few years at Degrassi. Consequently, Alli realizes all the mistakes she's committed in the last two years and wonders how she can make it up to herself and her parents. Jenna risks everything by revealing to the world that she is pregnant, all to gain a few more minutes of fame...But in the end does it really matter?

Holly J feels extremely conflicted about what happened with Declan at his party. But was it just a bad decision, or something much, much worse. Meanwhile, if Clare's rebellion seems to be creating common ground for her parents, she has just the thing to bring them back together: her dress-code flouting boyfriend, Eli. Chantay may be the only person who really cares about the Power Squad, but Power Squad isn't the only club that got the kibosh under the new discipline code. Can she organize the students to take back Degrassi -- without triggering even harsher crackdowns?

As Clare's family crumbles and her parents sell their house, she's left feeling totally unwanted and irrelevant in her own home and turns to Eli for comfort, meanwhile Eli's parents have a strange offer. Adam likes Fiona, but so does Drew. Will the rivalry make Drew admit that he still doesn't consider Adam as a guy but as Gracie? Who will get Fiona in the end?

Jenna puts Sav and Holly J's relationship in jeopardy. Holly J. tells Sav about the night she spent with Declan and they go through a breakup. But when K.C. tells Jenna he wants to get back together with her, she's determined to get Holly J and Sav back together. Whatever it takes, right? That includes forcing Holly J's manager to let her off work early, making Holly J go to the secret party and pretending that Jenna is going to have her baby to get Sav in the limo alone with Holly J. They come out of the limo and Holly J asks if they can go back to the way they were. Sav says that he'll have to see with a kiss. They get back together. Adam invites Fiona to the secret party he had planned especially for her but finds himself disappointed when she doesn't show. Wesley and Anya go on their first date, but it's nowhere near perfect as it was set out to be. Wesley realizes that Anya likes Dr. Chris and Anya realizes that Wesley thought they were dating. He tells her to go get them some coffee but it's later revealed that he sent her for coffee so that he could leave and she and Dr. Chris could hang out.

Adam's upset when Fiona feels the need for champagne in order to be with him. Anya goes on a date with Dr. Chris and they hit it off but she's afraid to tell him just how young she is. Dave meets a girl but has a problem that she's taller than him.

When Riley's mom catches him and Zane being affectionate she goes into full denial. When Drew tries and fails to get the gang to accept his relationship with Bianca, he makes a bad decision. Alli's attempt at reform goes off the rails when her mom catches her holding a cigarette and mom refuses to believe that it belongs to her 'perfect' new friend Malika.

Alli runs away and while searching Sav confronts his dad about really listening to her. KC and Jenna agree to babysit for their parenting coach's six year old and learn that their style of parenting is not hers. When Fitz shows up on Clare's doorstep she takes him in despite her misgivings.

Despite passing out in class while giving a presentation, Holly J. tries to continue denying that she's sick. Wes makes his attempt to set the Guiness record for most pogo stick jumps in a 24 hour period. Johnny gives Sav a heads up after Alli has an encounter on the mean streets and Sav tries to convince her to come home.

Fiona has words with Adam about what she sees in him and has to re-evaluate her dating tastes. Alli and Clare organize a math tutoring session in hopes of raising the standardized math test results but the sessions force Allie to deal with Drew. Anya re-evaluates her feelings about Owen after he apologizes for his actions in CPR class.

When Anya clues Holly J in on Fiona's real feelings for her, Holly J tries to act natural. Jenna is sorry about how tough she's been on KC and asks the guys to throw him a bachelor party of sorts. After their discussion about Clare needing some breathing room, Eli gets even more intense.

After really messing up at the end of the semester, Drew's grounded for Spring Break and lonely without girlfriend Bianca. But when he begins to worry that B might be unfaithful, he sneaks out to keep tabs on her. What he discovers is Bianca's ex is back in town - and he's dangerous.

Anya is turning 18 and can finally date Dr. Chris legally, but is he still interested? Connor's social awkwardness makes Hannah uncomfortable and stresses Wes's friendship. KC and Jenna continue to struggle with new parenthood while Drew worries about Vince's threat.

When Adam and Dave are tapped to share an in-school radio show called Mano a Mano, Dave has some gender issues with his co-host. Fiona gets the cold shoulder in drama class and cuts school to spend time with Charlie. Clare tries writing a sample assignment for the paper but there's a clash of styles with the paper's editor.

Eli finds he's having trouble writing and tries substituting meds for a muse. Riley meets a girl that his mother says wants college info and finds himself on a date. KC lingers at work to avoid Jenna and his parental quagmire.

After getting rejected by Dr. Chris and Toronto University, Anya's self-esteem is at an all-time low. Anya needs a boost of confidence and tries to find it through artificial means.

Clare's messy breakup with Eli and her parents' ugly divorce have turned her against relationships. The only problem? All she can think about is making out with new hottie Jake.

Holly J's condition worsens and she needs a kidney transplant but surprisingly none of her family is the right blood type. Katie expresses an interest in Adam but Adam worries that she may not know his situation. Imogene decides to become just like Clare in order to win Eli and enlists some unlikely help.

Jenna wants to be more than just a teen mom and returns to Degrassi and into school activities. Jenna and KC start to realize that the best thing for the baby, and for them, may be to give Tyson up for adoption.

Since Alli can't officially have a boyfriend, she wants Dave to meet her folks as a friend. Holly J needs to convince her birth mom to donate a kidney. Drew revels in his newfound abilities in MMA fighting despite the danger of being caught doing it at school.

Eli, still off his meds, is convinced he can win Clare back. His plan? Use the play, and Imogen's help, to break up Clare and Jake. But when Clare makes it clear that there is no future for her and Eli, Eli's mania turns to depression.

Alli wants to cement her relationship with Dave before leaving for a two month Summer Science Camp. But after a miscommunication about sex, Alli has to make things right.

Drew asks Katie out on a first date but Katie is torn because her best friend Marisol still has a crush on Drew. Sav and Ms. Oh collaborate on some tunes. Can Sav and Ms. Oh make beautiful music together? After his on-stage melt-down Eli is trying to deal with his bi-polar disorder but feels he must make amends to those he's hurt.

Anya is worried about passing her physical to get into the army and Owen volunteers to help her get ready. Fiona doesn't want to feel like a third wheel at prom and invites Charlie. Katie asks Drew to the prom but Marisol gets her worried about the possibility of sex after.

Now that he's graduated, Sav wants a date with Ms. Oh but tonite's the prom and she's chaperoning. Clare and Jake plan to attend but their parents ask them to attend a family dinner so that they can announce something. Meanwhile Drew finds out about Bianca's arrangement with Vince.

When Jake throws a party at the cabin in the woods, his friends -- and a few uninvited guests -- struggle to survive the night.

Since receiving his bipolar diagnosis, Eli is tired of being treated differently. Teachers are giving him extensions, Bullfrog is being over-protective...even Imogen is making him into a bipolar art project.

Dave is determined to spend time with Alli and win back her trust. Just as he's beginning to make headway, Dave's one night stand, Jacinta, aggressively pushes her way back into his life, making it impossible for Dave to ignore her.

Katy is having difficulty weaning herself off pain meds following her knee surgery and wants to make a drugs connection via Bianca's old friends. Dave feels guilty about Jacinta being in the hospital and Alli is worried. Mo wants Marisol to acknowledge that they are really dating.
