The story takes place in a Budapest cafe, in the street, and at the water tower and Margaret Island. A rich man goes to the cafe where he is infatuated with the lady who sits at the cash desk. The waiter was in love with this lady. Now the rich man puts his coat on the chair. He doesn't want to hang it, and he orders a coffee for it. And then he falls asleep and dreams that the coat comes to life, and is walking down the street, it goes to the park, it spends the rich man's money, it introduces itself to Sári Fedák, it has a noble life, and even it finally seduces the lady at the cash desk. At the end of the piece, of course, the rich man wakes up and learns from the lessons of the dream, that he will be no longer rude to the waiters, he renounces the lady at the cash desk for the benefit of the waiter.
