Sarah, a former child star, is trying to get back to her stardom. She is asked to visit an acting coach to train her for an upcoming role. On the way there, she is trapped at a "bed and breakfast" run by the devil who goes by the name of "Ville". From there, Sarah is forced to face her past along with the ghosts who are trapped in there with her. She holds hatred for her father whom she blames for the death of her brother. She struggles in her life and her relationships because of that hatred that she's held.

Ville, on the other hand, has both a demonic and angelic side to him which he uses to his advantage to convince Sarah to get what he wants: the key. He wants to be like Lucifer and believes being a devil like him is the coolest thing in the world. He believes what he's doing is right but in reality, whatever he does is not right. Sometimes by sheer luck he gets something right which this rarely happens.

Other ghosts that live with Ville at the "bed and breakfast," are either seniors or the little children who have experiences of brutal violence when they were alive.
