Will it Play in the Pyrenees?

Warning: Spoilers
A man talks about taking a room with a landlady. While he steps away, some boys come and smudge her walls. She fetches a bucket of water to toss at the urchins, but hits the wrong target.

Like any good director, Mlle. Guy would shoot any subject -- after all, the movie would last less than a minute, and while discussions might take a couple of weeks to set up, the actual filming could be done in one day with a single camera set-up. Rehearse them, make sure the crew is ready and .... allez-y! The object is not to impose some didactic paradigm, but to produce a piece of a program that will get people to pay a few centimes to watch it.... which means that the exhibitors will buy copies for exhibition. There's nothing funnier than seeing a well-turned-out man have a bucket of water dumped on him. Especially if you're a poor Parisian Apache or serving girl out in the provinces.
