Mary Fuller is courted by two men: Charles Ogle, a railroad superintendent, and Richard Neill, a Mexican. Neill decides to get rid of his rival by getting his fellow Mexicans to ambush him and then blowing him up with dynamite. What will Mary do in this Vitagraph short subject?
Despite the stereotyping, this is a fine little movie, with nice scenery and good acting (by the standards of 1912) by all actors. Miss Fuller was a major talent at this point in her career; Ogle was a well regarded film actor and would remain one through the end of silent movies, whereupon he would retire; Neill would work through the 1950s, albeit usually in extra roles. The uncredited director of this film handles the crowd scenes very well.
