A two-reel pictureplay that is full of intrique and intense interest. Many complications occur. An unscrupulous financier determines to get the right of way for a railroad which is being put through. He has little conscience in his operations and disregards the welfare of all others in his transactions. Eventually he is forced to buy the right of way at an equitable price. A very good and well produced picture. - The Moving Picture World, June 27, 1914
