- While chatting up a maiden at the counter of a laundry, a "desperate scoundrel" pockets a stack of money blown his way by an office fan. A young worker (the maid's sweetie) is blamed, but through mischance and guilt, the money makes its way back to the laundry with the scoundrel in pursuit. Laundries are dangerous places: a walk-in safe, a vat of dirty clothes, a mechanized pressing table, a skylight, and a small bomb put the maid at risk, give the youth a chance at heroics, and drown the thief's chances.—<jhailey@hotmail.com>
