Another interesting story from Charles Goddard, the author of "The Perils of Pauline" Filmed in 1915 a story about some wealthy individuals who are fed up with society and believe it should be run like a Rockefeller trust. They come up with a plan to create an individual from an orphaned girl, The Amesbury girl (Anita Stewart) They kidnap and raise her and raise her in seclusion and through hypnosis she is led to believe she is Celestia,(Anita Stewart), from heaven. She is reintroduced to society and has a very influential effect on people. Tommy Barclay (Earl Williams) her childhood friend falls in love with her, as an adult, and figures out eventually who she is. He eventually uncovers the whole plot and for some reason he is not affected by her heavy influence overcomes many obstacles and helps her rediscover who she really is and like The "Perils of Pauline" he wins the girl and the inheritance.
