A slight tendency to overdraw the situation
deickemeyer21 December 2019
A Reliance four-reel production starring Robert Edeson, with Mary Alden playing the feminine lead. This also belongs to the Masterpictures Program, and has been produced by George Nichols from a scenario written by Frank B. Woods. The story in the first place has not dealt easily with the subject, for in trying to present a truth which there is no denying, there has been a slight tendency to overdraw the situation, thereby retarding a natural development. There is also noticeable considerable padding, and a brief story is told with labor. It must be remembered at the same time that to the average audience the picture would have rather a strong appeal. - The Moving Picture World, May 1, 1915
