Charles Murray and wife Eva Thatcher are vacationing at the seashore -- which gives an opening for Sennett's Bathing Beauties -- when newlyweds Wayland Trask and Mary Thurman show up for their honeymoon. Murray is smitten and tries to entice Miss Thurman with his wife' necklace.
The copy I looked at was not pristine, but it was full length, which showed off not only the full Sennett cast, including Frank Terry, Ben Turpin, Wallace Beery, Pepper the Cat, and Keystone Teddy, but the superior editing that had been a hallmark of Sennett's movies from the founding of Keystone through the end of the silent era. Each shot flows naturally from the previous one, and the increasing insanity is paralleled by the cutting pace.
