Bobby Bumps has found a mud turtle -- also known as a snapping turtle, box turtle, or cooter -- and puts him in the bath tub for safe keeping. This is not satisfactory to the adults in the household, so young Master Bumps needs to find a safer place for his new pet.
This is a much shorter and slightly less interesting Bobby Bumps cartoon than usual. I attribute that to its short length. It was produced as part of the Bray-Paramount Magazine, one of many one- or two-reel short subjects that the larger studios produced, covering a variety of subjects, produced to help fill out a program of 'featured movie and selected short subjects.'
