Bobby Bumps and Fido are out hunting on posted land. A sheriff's deputy stops them and gets into a chase instead in this Bobby Bumps cartoon.
Although studio owner John Randolph Bray had been distributing his cartoons through Paramount for some time at this point, this entry in the series lacks any sort of Bray marque on the print. Was this a rebranding for reissuance, or had Bray bought the series and chosen to have director Earl Hurd work directly for them?
It's a very simply and cleanly drawn example of the series. Bobby, Fido, the deputy, even the background work, consist of skillful line drawings. Cartoon production was expensive, and simplifying design was a sure way of cutting down costs.
