That's what this movie is about. Lester Cuneo was discovered as a toddler by a couple of Sioux and raised as their son. Now grown, he has been attending college back east and has fallen in love with Francelia Billington. But because everyone thinks he is a dirty redskin, her father won't let them marry. Cuneo, thinking he is a full-blooded Sioux, plays it like a wooden Indian, while Miss Billington throws the occasional fit.
That being the sort of movie this is, the question for the modern viewer is how is the photography? In the hands of cinematographer Floyd Jackman, it's pretty good in the outdoor shots, with some very nice scenery. The interiors are good, if a trifle old fashioned even for the year this was made, with lots of portrait shots.
