Koko is such industrious in this one!

The start of "Vaudeville" is a bit unusual. That's because in other Koko cartoons, Koko interacts with Max Fleischer--his animator. In many, it begins with Max drawing Koko...and then all sorts of silliness follows. However, in this one, Max not only draws Koko but himself as well! Weird...but clever.

Soon Max draws a theater and sends Koko there to sell tickets. Then, the clown is the emcee of the live show as well as the musician providing musical accompaniment! Surely, he's a very industrious clown!

This is a nice and enjoyable Koko short. While nothing pops out as brilliant or must-see about this one, it is well made and holds up pretty well today.
