"Koko Gets Egg-Cited" is also known as "Koko's Barnyard", a title given to it years later. In addition, music was added to it at that time.
The film starts the opposite of many Koko films. Instead of Max Fleischer drawing Koko or taking him out of the inkwell, Koko uses the tools to draw Max and the real world!
The plot involves Koko trying to get chickens to lay eggs. It's really weird...especially when Koko dresses up like a chicken and woos the chicken...and it results in some abominations hatching from the eggs. As for Koko's doggy, he's trying to get a rooster to lay eggs!
This is a cute and clever cartoon. While not among the best of the Koko films, nearly all of them are terrific and fun...and this one is no exception.
