Walker, star of Capra's Matinée IDOL, and Francisco are presentable enough leads and career editor Hunt puts it together efficiently but the film drags.
Finding an odd imaginative touch - the kids gang jeering the pool hall toughs or the cut back to the un-eaten chocolate cake after the cops have interrupted the party - jars with the routine nature of the rest.
