The $2.00 that Rick makes for washing the police motorcycles would be worth about $45.00 in 2023.
The flock of sheep seen in the film were kept in the Sheepfold building until 1934 when they were relocated and the building was converted to The Tavern on the Green restaurant.
Officer Charlie Cabot (Guy Kibbee) is correctly wearing the number "22" on his uniform's lapels, signifying the NYPD's 22nd Precinct, which is now known as the Central Park Precinct. When he tells Rick to go to the Arsenal to wash motorcycles, that was the precinct house at the time, located at Fifth Avenue and E. 64th Street. The precinct was moved in 1936 to the former horse stable buildings on the 86th Street Transverse Road.
Although set entirely in or just outside Central Park, the entire picture was filmed at Warner Bros.' Burbank studio except for a few stock footage shots of New York, mostly in the beginning and end.
The Central Park Casino mentioned in the film was an upscale nightclub and restaurant - but no gambling as the name implies. It was demolished in 1935 and was where the Rumsey Playfield is now, on the east side of the park between E. 71st and E. 72nd Streets.
