The first appearance of a character named Dippy Dawg, who would soon evolve into Goofy.
The Cat appears for the fourth time in "Mickey's Revue" from 1932, along with it's kittens for the second time. The Cat has previously appeared in the Mickey Mouse Cartoons "Mickey Steps Out" from 1931, along with it's kittens in "The Barnyard Broadcast" from 1931, and solo again in "Mickey Cuts Up" from 1931. While the Cat only has a brief role in the Cartoon, it's kittens cause major trouble, similar to their first appearance in "The Barnyard Broadcast" from 1931.
Some animation of the audience in "Mickey's Revue" from 1932 was reused from the 1929 Mickey Mouse Cartoon "The Opry House".
Goofy's or Dippy Dawg's laughter is heard for the second time in "Mickey's Revue" from 1932. It was previously heard at the end of the 1932 Mickey Mouse Cartoon "Barnyard Olympics", the previous Cartoon.
