Braddock was on top of the boxing world and would reign as heavyweight champ until 1937, defeating celebrated pugilist Max Baer to do so.
In the opening, while Country Mouse is working the punching bag, a poster behind him advertises "Battling Freleng." Friz Freleng was the director of this cartoon.
