- On his way to help his ex-partner, miner Sam Trotter, Brit Marshall is tricked into helping Trotter's murderers get away with Trotter's gold bullion. Arrested for Trotter's murder, Brit and his comical sidekick Ike escape and begin to track down the killers to clear themselves. Clues as to the whereabouts of the bullion appear when torn corners of a playing card are found on each killer's person, leading to the identity of the gang's silent partner, one of the town's leading citizens.—Doug Sederberg <vornoff@sonic.net>
- Britt Marshall (Tim Holt), with the aid of his pal Ike (Cliff Edwards) is out to clear himself of the false charge of murdering and robbing his partner in a gold mine.. The real four crooks take a crooked banker into their plan and ask him to hide the gold they have stolen in his bank's safe. They tear a five-of-spades card into five pieces, each takes a piece, and agree to return later when the heat is off to claim their portion of the gold. If any of the four robbers can't make it back personally , the piece of card will prove the bearer is an okay representative. Britt and Ike break jail and set out to bring the crooks to justice. The crooks plan didn't count on a dumb sheriff, a dumber deputy and Ike's card-shark/magician abilities.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
