  Rusty Peters : Yeah, some time ago. He was killed in an accident comin' back from the railhead. Neck was broken and his reputation for bein' an honest man at the same time.

  Johnny Williams : What do you mean?

  Rusty Peters : Well, if he hadn't been killed in the accident, he'd a been arrested for embezzlement.

  [after nodding at Johnny on the trail, a townsman suddenly reverses course and gallops back into town] 

  Johnny Williams : Huh. Wonder what's wrong with him, Rebel.

• [to Duke, after the henchman repeatedly shot at what he thought was Johnny's back] 

  Johnny Williams : Did ya get him?

  [startled, Duke reaches for his gun, but Johnny beats him to the draw]
