The wall behind the newspaper office telephone switchboard operator shows a dark, white figures on black calendar in close shots, but a small white on black one in long shots.
At the start of the film, when Slip wakes up, Sach is laying on his back with his bruised face showing, but when the flashback catches up to that point in time, Sach is on his stomach with his face hidden.
The film begins with Slip waking in an alley with a bruised face and narrating what had happened in a long flashback. When the story reaches him being beaten in the alley, a policeman wakes him up, which is followed by the final words of Slip's narration, so that would seem to be what actually had happened but that's not how it was shown at the beginning.
At the end of the film, Slip and Sach share the same hospital room where Gabe was recovering about three days earlier, but the beds have been rearranged (from perpendicular to parallel) and the light fixture and monitor controls have been moved from one wall to another to be above the new location of the relocated bed.
