- When Ranger Raymond is killed during a stage holdup, Wells Fargo agent Whip Wilson assumes his identity. This gets him the job of town marshal and he goes after gang leader Jarvis and his boss Devin. But unknown to Whip, Mason is the big boss and when Raymond's sister arrives and Whip's true identity becomes known, Mason plans to have Whip arrested for Raymond's murder.—Maurice VanAuken <mvanauken@a1access.net>
- Outlaws Cliuff Devlin (Tristram Coffin) and Jarvis (George J. Lewis) hold up a stagecoach driven by Whip (Whip Wilson), undercover Wells Fargo agent, and take gold bullion after killing Texas Ranger Tim Raymond (Kenne Duncan). Unknown to Whip, passenger Stellla Drew (Christine Larson), working for her sweetheart Devlin and on her way to sing at The Golden Nugget Saloon, had signaled for the hold-up from the stagecoach. Another passenger, "Winks" Winkle (Andy Clyde), finds his newly-purchased blacksmith shop in Masonville being used as a hideout for the outlaw gang. Whip poses as the murdered Ranger in order to get a line on the outlaws but his plan goes awry when the sister of the murdered Ranger, Janet Raymond (Jan Bryant) comes to Masonville to visit her brother.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
