Memorias de un Mexicano
Mike-12379 January 2007
As an author of a book, "A Photo History of the Mexican Revolution 1910-1920" (English or Spanish), this movie (English narrative) is an excellent documentary of the exciting Mexican history of 1910-1920. There are no "Hollywood" scenes, all scenes are actual news footage of that fascinating time narrated in a "story" manner. Technically, the film displays the scratches, "jumpy" looping, and all the minuses that come with trying to preserve (1950) older film, but these minuses add veracity and preserve the film clips in their original state. Francisco Madero, Pancho Villa, Carranza, Huerta; there are many unique scenes of the personalities of the revolution. There are many actual battle scenes. This movie is an excellent documentary!
