• Pirate : [after just landing on the California shore, as Zappa and the Captain are walking inland]  Captain!

  Captain Bardoso : Well, what?

  Pirate : I have a feeling, Captain.

  Captain Bardoso : Then scratch it, dog.

  Pirate : This is a feeling about the Californios. Maybe they're... watching us. Maybe they - when the Californios catch a pirate, they tie him behind a horse and run him until his feet wear down to his ankles.

  [the Captain punches him, he falls to the ground] 

  Marcos Zappa : And his ankles down to his legs, and his legs to the top of his head.
