Warning: Spoilers
In this very old fashioned black and white comedy (that looks ten years older than it's release date), Eva thinks her boring fiancée Fritz is two timing her. So her girlfriends and she think up a revenge plan with a little help from his dad, Herr Hugo. All on account of some misplaced flowers. Waitaminit. Clothes store clerk Fritzie actually IS in love with another girl, Raffaella. What a twist! Guess he prefers brunettes after all. The only one who knows for sure is his best buddy Rolf, who happens to be the first man Eva meets and seduces (that's her cunning plan). Naturally Rolf falls for Eva immediately and Fritz encourages him too (Rolf did not catch her name). Everybody got it up to here?

If this sounds like a nice romantic soap to you, don't be fooled, all they do is talk. As usual everything takes place in and around one boring old hotel. Not afraid to throw in yet another tired cliché, both Eva and Raffaela are suspected of being a jewel thief (can't have a hotel without one of those, now can you?). When Fritz finds out he starts to cry. Daddy Hugo watches Raffaela perform ballet and Rolf goes dancing with Eva while Fritz sleeps in a car with his mom (!?). Back at the hotel everybody messes around in a bathroom but they all still manage to remain fully clothed. Two unfunny policemen show up looking for that jewel thief (oh come on!) before everything sorts itself out. One thing I did enjoy were the good old wipes between scenes. The fact that for once Georg Thomalla did not appear anywhere also merits an extra point.
