- Sylvester Cat and Tweety Bird are snowbound in a mountain cabin, and though Tweety has lots of bird seed, Sylvester will starve unless he can cook the unsuspecting Tweety. Meanwhile, a starving mouse thinks Sylvester is edible and keeps springing on the cat, chewing the fur off his head and tail and trying to cook his various body parts. Granny returns just in time with groceries, to find she mistakenly brought back only more bird seed!—Kevin McCorry <mmccorry@nb.sympatico.ca>
- During a fierce blizzard, Granny fumes at a highway patrolman about her inability to get to her snowbound cabin in the mountains, where her pets Tweety and Sylvester are. The pair hear a radio report that they may be stranded for six weeks without suitable food. Well, not really; Tweety had plenty of birdseed, but Sylvester might not. After the bird helps Sylvester review the list of "what puddy tats wike to eat," Sylvester begins his carnivorous pursuit of the bird. This time he chums up to Tweety, treating him as his best friend as he tricks him into such situations as a stewpot and a frying skillet. All the while, Sylvester's attempts to cook Tweety are impeded by a starving mouse who's so delirious he tries to eat the puddy (he only manages to gnaw at his fur). The mouse makes several attempts to cook Sylvester. Eventually, Granny does make it back to the cabin to replenish her food supply only to find she picked up more birdseed.—Brian Rathjen <briguy_52732@yahoo.com>
- As the film opens, Granny is stuck in her car during a massive blizzard. A man in a nearby cabin tells her that all roads to the mountains are closed. She mutters frustratedly to herself, knowing that her bird and cat are stuck in her cabin, and vows to find a way to get there.
Meanwhile, in Granny's cabin, Sylvester and Tweety are on surprisingly good terms, sleeping together (although Sylvester at one point slaps himself for thinking of eating Tweety). At that moment, a radio broadcast comes on announcing the effects of the blizzard, and noting that all roads up to the mountains will be closed for up to six weeks. A stunned Sylvester, who does not like the idea of starving, searches the cabin for food, but all he can find is many, many boxes of bird seed. Sylvester then starts to think about cooking and eating Tweety.
Sylvester puts a pot of boiling water on the stove, and coaxes Tweety to getting in the pot by convincing him to go sailing in a paper sailboat. While Sylvester is tending to the water, a hunger-crazed mouse stumbles out of his hole, muttering about how he forgets what food even looks like. At that moment, he sees Sylvester's tail, and immediately runs up and starts gnawing on it. Sylvester starts chasing the mouse, while it manages to gnaw at his ear as well. He eventually chases the mouse back into its hole, and hammers a board to it to ensure he cannot escape.
Sylvester returns to the pot, but Tweety is gone, sitting on a nearby windowsill. While Sylvester is looking for Tweety in the water, the mouse (who chewed a hole in the board) shoves him into the water, causing him to leap out and howl in pain. Sylvester chases the mouse back into the hole, and blocks the hole again with a large mallet.
Sylvester then coaxes Tweety into going "skating" by allowing him to slip and slide on a layer of cooking oil in a pan. Tweety manages to escape, landing on top of the stove. Sylvester reaches up to grab him, but inadvertently puts his hand on the hot stove. He quickly gets it off with a spatula, and cools his hand by shoving it into a large mound of snow outside. However, he has only just finished doing this when he realizes the mouse has escaped again, and is cooking his tail in a toaster. He puts his tail out by grinding it into an ashtray, and chases the mouse again.
The mouse drops a bowling ball on Sylvester's head, knocking him out. The mouse then tries to cook Sylvester's leg on a rotisserie, but Sylvester wakes up and puts out his burning leg. He then angrily takes an axe and starts hacking at the hole. Just then, however, Granny arrives through the door, having walked all the way, with a large package of food. Unfortunately, the food turns out to be bird seed. Granny realizes she must have gotten the wrong package, and remarks, "We'll just have to make the best of it."
Later, Tweety and Sylvester are eating the bird seed, the latter with much disgust and reluctance. However, the hunger-crazed mouse still has not given up his pursuit of food, and pours milk and sugar on Sylvester's tail as if it were cereal. At that moment, Tweety asks Sylvester if he likes the bird seed. The mouse bites down on Sylvester's tail, and he flies into the air with a howl and crashes down onto the table again. Tweety chides Sylvester, saying, "Oh, come now! It can't be that bad." Iris out.
