Lasse Pöysti's last direction work
Petey-1010 June 2011
This is the story of Justus, a poor inventor. He meets Bella, and they're poor but happy. Then Justus participates in a boxing match, and he wins a lot of money.Goodbye money problems, but welcome problems in love.Justus Järjestää Kaiken (1960) is directed by Lasse Pöysti. He directed 8 films, and after this one he decided to concentrate to acting. He wrote the film with Benedict Zilliacus and Henrik Tikkanen.Pöysti also acts the lead in the movie, and he does a very fine job.He reminds me from time to time of early comedians, like Charlie Chaplin. Both are kind of tragicomical figures, who try to make it in the tough world.Elina Salo is enchanting as Bella.Birgitta Ulfsson, who was married to Pöysti at the time, is marvelous as Minna. You've got to like Hannes Häyrinen as Osmo Ujokas, a very shy man.Leo Lastumäki is superb as the big dumb man Pontus.Risto Mäkelä is terrific as Manager Goldklimb.Tarmo Manni is great as Näyttelijä.Also Leif Wager's father, Lasse Wager is seen in the movie as Ministeri. The movie has some funny moments, especially in the beginning.Like the first moments with Ujokas. And with Pontus. Those who like old Finnish comedies, should see this movie.
