Stella Stevens said during a 1994 interview that her character Nina was the total opposite of what she was. She said she was an introverted, bookish sort of person who wanted to learn to become a good writer and there she was playing a nymphomanic, which she was intrigued with. "Some of the most fun parts I've played have been nymphomanics. It was very risque at the time."
Based on the 1958 novel "Soft Touch" by John D. McDonald.
Two uncredited actors in the supporting cast would later have regular roles on the sitcom F Troop (1965)--Joe Brooks who would play the always vision-challenged lookout Trooper Vanderbilt and Don Diamond who would play Crazy Cat, the wise-cracking, comically mild-mannered but eager heir apparent to the inept Hekawi tribe's leader, Chief Wild Eagle.
A dozen years later, star David Janssen would star as private eye Harry Orwell in the TV series Harry O (1973), and Henry Darrow, who has an uncredited role here as a Mexican police officer, would portray Orwell's police contact Lt. 'Manny' Quinlan, until he would be killed off in an episode introducing that character's successor Lt. Trench, played by Anthony Zerbe who would win an Emmy for his continued performance in that role.
