Most definitely worth a look!

Written, produced and directed by Dorrell and Stuart McGowan, this is a delightful, moving little tale of an orphan girl (Molly Mack), an enormous dog ("Jeffrey"), an elephant ("Valle"), and a circus. Miss Kai Fischer (who plays "Steffi") is also an enormous asset. We also enjoyed the captivating music score by Ronald Stein and the singing of Raffaela. Admittedly, the movie does have a down side: Kai Fischer doesn't come on for half an hour and the movie's nominal lead, Miss Molly McGowan (billed as Molly Mack), is a somewhat mediocre little actress, although she does have one great asset with her charming mispronunciation of "elephant". This, alas, was her second of only two movies. She also appeared in two TV episodes of the "Death Valley Days" series. Sad to say, she died only a few years later at the tender age of eighteen from Hodgkin's disease. Perhaps that's why this movie now seems to have been completely forgotten?

"Jeffrey" the Irish Wolfhound is a great example of "Giant" wolfhounds and so gentle.

The growling had to be dubbed in I'm sure. If you know the breed, you will "LOVE" the movie! The story plot rates as OK with me and my family! The acting is better than we could do. Our wolfhound isn't as big but could make a GREAT Comedy! We love all the players! Too bad there are no copies of this movie around. We "Irish wolfhound" owners would love to watch it again and again.
