- The pasta factory owner and gourmet consul Keyser is looking forward to his summer vacation at the hotel, when his caring daughter Marion condemns him to a stay on the barren Italian island "Isola Piccola" to put him on a better diet. Keyser "coincidentally" has his legal advisor Dr. Steffen come there as well, because he hopes to bring Marion together with him. However, the young blonde is in no way taken with the cowering Dr. Steffen. Michael Lutz, a passionate fisherman, and his neglected fiancée Barbara are already spending their vacations on the island. The latter sees the vacation as the last chance to finally persuade him to marry. Michael asks the singer Bob Stuart, together with his band in their ghost costumes to drive away the annoying newcomers again. However, this does not happen, as Gina, the crooked wife of the local police chief, seizes the opportunity. She sends the musicians to another island and real robbers to the German tourists, who fleece them and finally break their rubber dinghy. So, willy-nilly, the vacationers have to rely on each other to find food and get off the island again. After Dr. Steffen unexpectedly shows some bravery, the couples finally find each other.—Christian_Wolfgang_Barth
