Katy and Glen decide to go camping with Senator Ames and his wife. Glen is not too thrilled, but Katy thinks it would be a lot of fun. Turns out Senator Ames and his wife bow out leaving Glen and Katy alone.

A Doctor tells Glen to lose weight. However, he keeps this from Katy. When her friends see Glen at a diner with the doctor's nurse, it's assumed he's having an affair. Meanwhile, the boys have a plan to ask Katy to adopt them.
Katy want to buy Glen a piece of expensive art. To raise the money she secretly cuts expenses and holds a garage sale. Glen is unaware and his friend is convinced Katy is saving money for a divorce.
