- Daffy Duck is lost in the desert and dying of thirst. Desperate to find water, he starts to dig for it. But he doesn't find water: he finds a gold nugget the size of a brick! A pack-rat shows up and offers to trade Daffy the nugget for a glass of water. Even though Daffy needs the water, he is so greedy that he refuses to give the nugget up and begins to hallucinate about what he would do with the nugget (including using it as pay in a bar and dancing with a cactus). Finally, at the point of complete dehydration (in which he turns into dust), Daffy gives in to the rat and gives up his nugget. However, as he starts to take a drink, it starts to rain and fills up the desert! Daffy looks at the camera and says, "You gotta admit, when I pay for water, I sure get my money's worth!"—Lex
